Service amazing young lady from the USA served all 10 1/2 of us. food was lovely ,as a vegetarian I always end up with the same crap every menu but I chose the cauliflower cheese .all I can say is the portion won it wAs like the ever lasting porridge pot lol . I felt like it was producing more as I ate it . My husband had the lamb with mash and root veg ragu and said he would travel down from Sunderland to eat that again ( I did have a sneaky taste of the ragu n could have quite easily ate a bowl of that it was delicious) however a few of the party had fish n chips n weren't as impressed. I think that has to be judged on a personal basis though but all in all a fabulous dining experience would I go back ? Most definitely x

We went yesterday for a roast . The food was delicious . The meat just melted in your mouth. The Mulled wine was warming and refreshing too. Very welcoming staff too. We will see you again in 2018.
I held my 60th birthday event in the Library at the Dog&Fox. Good venue, excellent beer, great food and very helpful team of people serving. Thoroughly recommended.
Lovely setting watching Wimbledon in the little fairytale garden. The food was very tasty all four of us enjoyed our meals and staff were very helpful and tentative x

Absolutely smashing place! Stayed in The Fox Suite and it was complete and utter heaven. Beautiful, well though out decor, comfy soft furnishings, big shower, HUGE rolltop bath, swanky coffee and in a gorgeous location. 5* isn't enough.... Can I move in?

After a bit of a disastrous start (I booked the wrong date) we were given a free upgrade.
The Hound Suite is a large comfortable room with a great en Suite. Every home comfort has been thought of, nespresso machine, high quality tea, fabulous bathroom items, mini bar, safe etc. Great location too
What a great night we had here. Live music was fab and the crowd very friendly.

Lovely stay in Wimbledon. Josh at reception was very welcoming and check in was a smooth experience. Room itself was very clean and comfortable with ice cold drinks in the mini bar and selection of snacks available. Local vanilla fudge was lovely. Comfortable bed, great shower and breakfast (full English) was fresh and delicious. Thank you for a great stay!
This Sunday, we were back again to the familiar excellent service and great atmosphere. The renovations have definitely lifted the airy atmosphere inside, and the new head chef has definitely taken the food to the next level. The pork roast was delicious, and hearty. Get extra gravy as it's simply delicious. Service was easily as good, and better than, most of the top tier, celebrated restaurants I've reviewed around the world. Scampi was great, winner there was the tartar sauce which I almost wish I doggy bagged.
Lovely staff in Wimbledon Village. Very friendly and attractive. Gorgeous. Building. Food, most likely. Definitely drinks. And great outdoor area at the front for people watching. Maybe even dating. Truly exceptional stay at The Dog and Fox. Every one of the many staff we interacted with were helpful, warm and engaging. However they are picking their staff it's clearly working. The food was exceptional. We could taste every flavour and the bavette steaks were cooked to perfection. The room was tastefully decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, smooth as silk, delightful stay in Wimbledon then The Dog and Fox is the place to go.
Really enjoyed my lunch with friends. The pub and restaurant is being re-decorated so sat in the side garden. I had the chicken Caesar salad. good size portion and very tasty. Staff were all really friendly and looked after us. Looking forward to returning soon.
Lovely hotel we stayed here for a wedding. Nice food and the y hosted a good reception. Clean room and beautifully decorated.Some suggestions to hotel owners:
The beds were very hard and the pillows quite lumpy so perhaps something to invest in?
I would make it clearer that the snacks left in the basket in your room are not complementary (as is normally the case in hotels). You have to read half way through the welcome booklet to see they will cost you dearly. Just a little sign might help.
Had a nice meal. Only comment, wished we were told something was sold out instead of given us the next best dish. Beef wellington was sold out. They didn’t tell us it was sold out, we were given halibut wellington as a replacement- which was a little dry. 🤦♀️. We would have gone for the roast beef. The fish and chips was delicious- light and dry. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal.
Excellent place to stay and very convenient for the tennis. Staff were extremely helpful on reception and in the restaurant and bar. Could not have had a better experience. Room was lovely, excellent facilities. Extremely comfortable bed! Dinner was delicious and fabulous breakfast menu too. We will definitely return.
The Dog & Fox hosted the Golden Wedding celebration for my parents, and the evening couldn’t have been better.
The food was exceptional, the drink selection was marvellous, and the service was some of the best I’ve ever encountered. They went out of their way to make the evening special. Would recommend this as a venue for any special occasion.

Issue was a mishap between real fish and vegan fish (though quickly sorted). Bar service was exceptional, groovy barman made an excellent daiquiri! Would definitely recommend.
We stayed here as a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was spacious & the sofa bed was already turned down when we arrived. The bathroom was a wet room & the drain was slow but otherwise everything was perfect. The pub had delicious food/beverage too. We trained in to London proper each day and on our last day toured Wimbledon.
We were served by Lenny M and Ellie who provided fantastic service and great food. A perfect Sunday afternoon spent watching the women’s World Cup final and enjoying a meal. Thank you as well to new managers Nikki and Duncan who made sure they found us a table even though the pub was busy. Will be returning again soon! Daisy & Shaun
Another great visit. Brilliant friendly staff, delicious roasts with enormous Yorkshire puddings. New furniture in the gardens is lovely for relaxing in the sun and watching the world go by.

Food was ok, chicken Escalope was small and a bit dry (recent 1 at Ivy much better). Staff very nice and service good but forgot one person's food for a while... overall yes would revisit as had an excellent Christmas lunch here previously and is a nice venue.

We have just stayed at the Dog & Fox for 3 nights. We have had a wonderful stay. The bedroom No:5 I can highly recommend. It was very clean and spacious. The bathroom products were beautiful, the mini bar was overflowing as was the snacks. The bed was so comfortable, in fact my husband slept until 9:00am, which is unheard of. The view of the village was nice as well as hearing the horses in a morning from the nearby stables. A lovely Nespresso coffee to start the day before a leisurely breakfast in the bar. The breakfasts were lovely, I especially liked the sourdough, avocado and poached eggs.
The managers, Nikki & Duncan were warm Northerners and so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Arik, who served us breakfast was fun, and again, nothing was too much trouble. We managed to watch the ladies final, the staff worked so hard, but appeared to have fun whilst doing so. The turn around after the game back to a lovely Dining area was some transformation. We thoroughly enjoyed having a glass of wine in the sun, before we had to return home. I can highly recommend The Dog & Fox. Well done Nikki & Duncan, you have a place I will be returning too.
I was wondering whether or not to go down the whole pub grub route, and I thought I'd just have a look. It was then that the music they were playing made me decide to eat something, and I'm pleased I did. I went for the fish and chips, etc. I will definitely make this my regular, although I'm not a drinker. I am an eater, and my fish and chips were wonderful.
Had a great recent stay at the Dog and Fox. Room was spacious, clean and really well equipped, and bed was super comfy. Great location too.
I did have an issue with the Wi-Fi (kept dropping signal) which unfortunately ended up costing me all my data use.
Found all the staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again
