A fine pub but, perhaps better described as a restaurant, quiet, refined and welcoming. There are a couple of cask ales on offer together with a fine keg offering. An enjoyable pint of Stiegl, cold to the bone. Gentle and serene are my words for this place.
Very nice food and great service. The burguer was cooked perfectly and the tortellinis were delicious (I was told). The lemon tart was sublime! Would recommend the pub. Maybe a little price but it's not too different to other restaurants in the Chelsea รกrea.
Been in this Pub couple of times with friend and family and always good experience. Atmosphere is lovely, staff is friendly and reasonable prices. โญ๏ธ This time it was two of us, ordered scotch egg ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ , two mains ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ (half chicken and baked aubergine) and a salad on a side which was fresh โœ… + 2
We enjoyed a nice and smooth family lunch. Food and service were both great. Very accommodating and hospitable for a large group of 10.
Great food and ambiance. Superb service despite being quite busy. The pinot noir wine was amazing value. Pulled pork starters are amazing. Tiramisu just ok.
First visit near workplace. 2 bottles of wine to share between 5. Quite busy Friday night. Toilets in basement. Restaurant half of pub.
Nice and different menu including steak tartar, pimiento padron & fritti zucchini. Delicious! We were very well looked after by the two Ladies working the pub that day (Aug 31st) Loved it ๐Ÿคฉ
Absolutely delicious!! The best dinner Iโ€™ve had out in years - the bitter leaf salad was so good I ordered seconds
Really good pub!! They turned it into a cool restaurant with a lovely terrace on the street. The service is great and food is amazing!! Seriously, you cannot miss it when you are around, specially if the weather is nice and you can seat outside. See photos for any recommendations.
Really nice spot, makes for a perfect Sunday roast, or just a jolly pub lunch on any other day of the week. Charming setting with comfortable chairs, and interesting artwork throughout (the alternative Mona Lisa at the entrance was particularly eye catching). Food-wise, I had the vegan burger with t
One of the classic Chelsea pubs. Used to spend a lot of time here many moons ago. Good to see it hasn't changed much (aside from a bit of a "posh up" as seems to be mandatory for all pubs in London... Farrow & Ball green paint etc). Round was predictably pricey but worth it for the people watching C
This is one of the best places to go to experience a real English pub. The traditional fish and chips are great. It has a variety of meals including some vegan and vegetarian options. The dessert menu is also great which includes the toffee pudding (pictured). It can get crowded so I would recommen
Really nice food and service. The place is beautiful and cozy. We had a great time!
You know you're getting an experience when its only locals and the waitress doesn't even ask what you want...you're getting the fish and chips of course with the lemon round tied in a bow...and they are oh sooooo good!! Giant portions and the tartar sauce was heavenly..
Vey pleasant off the "main road" dining. We only had a light lunch and coffee Service was good, the table we had was a bit wobbly, but we fixed it ourselves. Well worth a visit. I look forward to returning for a longer stay
