this is a chain pub BUT the food is really pretty decent.

They also do a burger night which I've heard is awesome.

Beer range here is wonderful if you dig craft beers

Brilliant Sunday Lunch - We were a group of 21 with 11 children and so the team had their work cut out. Teri and the team were super organised, we pre ordered to avoid any waiting around and everything went super smooth, the kids and adults were all happy. Service was commendable for group this size and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended....big shout out to Teri the team for making this long overdue reunion so special.

I've been coming to the Kings Head over many years, mostly for the comedy in Downstairs at the King's Head. It's always been a great night out. The pub is also great with a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful.

A lot can happen in five years and after a family walk we found ourselves back at a the Kings Head for a family meal again. Overall our experience was a bit better than last time and I've added a star as the food was acceptable though our sourdough loaf was stale from being sliced some time before serving. However the staff were a bit aloof and being let down by an app/website that didn't keep up to date with what WA s currently available either in the kitchen or on the bar. We also had a very long wait for our mains (Sunday roast) and had to chase both these and a side we'd ordered due to confusion with the ordering system. I wouldn't avoid The Kings Head but I wouldn't rush back either. Review from 2018: [Cool local pub with some nice beers and funky décor. Service was very pleasant, but the food was a bit bit disappointing. My wife had the Sunday roast half chicken and although beautifully presented some of the items were a disappointment. Chewy Yorkshire pudding, undercooked parsnips and soggy roast potatoes. Smoked haddock fishcakes were also nicely presented but smothered in too much hollandaise and could use a side vegetable. The kids fish and chips though was perfect - crisp and fresh, we stole everything my daughter left on her plate.]

Really nice pub with a good beer selection! Friendly service every time I've gone. Have a good range of events, especially comedy. Have never eaten here so can't comment on that. Nice decor and seating options. Like most places in North London, is a bit spenny!

Passed by this pub with a friend and decided to drop in for some drinks and snacks. Lively warm atmosphere for drinks and catching up with friends.. Staff was very welcoming. Their homemade starter nachos was incredibly tasty. Will definitely return to try their main food too.

The crackle on the cauliflower taking the time for making a mindset driving fine biting like a live wire fighting my diet keep the Keto club quiet don’t deny it it’s inviting my demon inside to vacate from the lettuce and the pint was pretty precious so let us sit and talk about Lauren on my thought cause the service was the core for a pub without a flaw

Another great experience at the Kings came from n for a drink with few friends as always Terry was on hand with her usual warm smile and welcome. The new Rosie’s Pig rhubarb cider is a must try 😊

The only experience better than frequenting the exquisite King's Head in London's famed crouch end, is the dazzling, head spinning high of being served by the charming and enigmatic Lauren. Never has a pint been poured so gracefully, nor a payment given so willingly

The scotch egg was divine! Our family is on vacation from the states and we're looking for a nice pub with a great local vibe and The Kings head is the place to be.

Definitely the best pub in Crouch End, we live locally and this is our favourite. I especially love landlord on tap and the Duchesse de Bourgogne they have. And of course, Ellie is the best!!!

This is one of my frequented pubs in Crouch End. Unpretentious, friendly and a pub that knows it a pub. Always polite professional bar staff that make you feel include and welcomed. A good range of drinks on offer. Give it a go.
