Classic British pub done right. The food on offer has a brilliant range of pub classics that are all cooked very well with good quality ingredients and are a definite step up from your average pub restaurant. The selection of beers available offer a great mix of dependable staples, popular imports a
Large cellar bar under a modern office block in Leather Lane, very near Chancery Lane tube. Good for groups especially early in the evening. Reasonable choice of real ales often including Nicholson's own brand (I think brewed by St Austell). Not cheap but considering the area this is not surprising.
Great pub. Great food. The Nicholsons Burger is amazing. Probably the best beef burger I’ve ever had.
This spacious Nicholson's pub is conveniently located near Chancery Lane tube station. It has what is an increasing rarity in British pubs these days: a bar billiards table! I haven't tried the food, though I suspect it's the standard Nicholson's offering.
Good selection of beers, decent burgers, especially their signature Nicholson's one and plenty of seating outside, even a couple of sofas!🍔🤤🤩 Bit pricey though but the Mon-Fri 50% off meals deal the burgers cost less than £8 each so that's not bad.
Proper good spot tucked away, nice indoor and outdoor seating, lots of decent food and massive line up of beers on tap. Shout out to the barman Matty who served me, great chat and nice smile. Will be back again!
The area given was sufficient for more than 20 and we definitely needed that extra capacity. It was well appreciated and will definitely used SCH again
During summer, it is very nice place to sit outside and enjoy your food. Inside it's bit dark and won't recommend. Food is good, I generally go here for their combo offering food with a glass of beer.
A fine Nicholson's pub named after QE 1s favourite "The Dancing Chancellor" who lived next door and gave his name to the nearby Jewellery quarter. A fine pint and excellent service from staff who seem pleased to be emerging from the extended lockdown period. A great pub for groups with plenty of sea
Great pints at a great location. My server Ryan was amazing. Would really recommend for a after work drink.
Been coming here on and off for years when working in and around the area or meeting friends in town. spacious and welcoming with a decent range of beers. Prices on par with everyone else.
This pub was a lovely place with excellent service with very friendly stafff, we were served by Aidan and he was friendly and helpful would definitely recommend to anyone and will visit again.
Fantastic pub. Went in here three times today - before buying rings, just after and to pick up. Great staff and service.
Great place to go for a drink and a bite. Matty is a star, he provides awesome service with a friendly smile and vibe. Would come back here for sure.
Go here regularly. My go to dishes are the plant burger or nourish bowl. Both delicious!
Service was Excellent, Friendly Staff got served by Aidan and Faith both we're amazing will come back again for sure
Nice pub. Fast service. Warm welcome.
Good cask beer (although only one on). Tasty gourmet sandwiches and chunky chips. Good outdoor seats with sunshine on quiet pedestrian only street
