We have held our school reunion here for the past 20 or so years. We have always received a generous plate of snacks and chips at no cost. Yesterday (7-10-23) was no exception - thank you so much! Bernie S - Administrator.

Would give 6 stars if I could. Manager was so welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere to catch up with my University friends. Manager kindly put on US Open finals on the tv when I asked. Jukebox was fun too!! 10/10 great pub, would recommend to anyone in the area and look forward to coming back again :) thank you for a fantastic night

I generally go to this pub every other Friday and have a very enjoyable night. The bar staff and landlady are lovely.

£7 for a tasty omelette meal! Hot drinks were under £2 and were nice. No "optional" (compulsory) service charge was forced upon me. Staff were friendly.

Nice little pub and considering it's in London the prices seemed reasonable. It's a little hidden away by the hospital so unless you look on maps you may not find it. I enjoyed my quick pint here while waiting for friends.

Great pub, wide range of beers, friendly staff and kept tidying and cleaning as the evening went on. Wide range of clientele, mixing well, and run by an attentive friendly Happy Hammer.

Food here is excellent I had their burger at it cracked my top 6 ot 7 I've ever had and defo the best "pub burger" I've eaten. My friend had a breakfast and he rated it highly. Beer selection is decent and bonus points for Madri. Highly recommended for a pint and some grub.

Food better than expected. Service was also really good. A bartender stopped us before walking out without our umbrella. Still could use some air freshener and renovation. But nice pub find nonetheless

Lovely little pub. Clean. Tidy. Friendly staff. Decent prices for their lunch time menu. Peroni on tap, what more could you want?

Very chilled pub with a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Very popular with the hospital staff across the road, so a young crowd in what is essentially an old man's pub. Quick service and reasonably priced drinks, would definitely drink here again.

A lovely pub in the east end of London. Good beer and fantastic ambience. And most important a bunch of great courteous people behind the bar serving you with their everlasting smile. Two very popular curry houses within a few minutes distance makes this pub a must visit for a couple of pints before heading for a curry. Recommended

One of my favourite pubs. Near tube. Tucked away behind hospital. Good range of drinks and not too expensive. A bit busy but couple on table invited us to share it. Short walk to some excellent restaurants. Stopped off again on way back. Perfect night out.
