Aloosh is a quality Lebanese shawarma takeaway!! The food is excellent quality and taste, portion is massive, very very generous. Lots of shawarma meat in mix shawarma, and chicken Shish pieces in meal. The rice is nice and chips. The service is very friendly id dining in with lots of traditional touches like bringing basket of bread and dips. They were so lovely and helpful and food tasted amazing. They’re also open late on the weekends so perfect after a night out. The inside dining area is a little grubby but it’s okay it’s sort of matches the place as a takeaway not really restaurant. The price is also great value as a drink is included in meal which can be fresh juice even which was amazing, and the portion is giant so it’s a great value meal.
The only thing is I think they made an error with the bill as it was more than it should have been for 3 meals, but I believe this was a genuine error and we didn’t mind as we’d had a lovely meal
Absolutely amazing! Beautiful food, great chef and lovely atmosphere, especially considering it’s in busy New Cross! Definitely a hidden gem, if you haven’t been already you definitely need to! My current favourite is the lamb shawarma with chilli and garlic sauce inside! Best authentic Lebanese food in South London.
Honestly the best Lamb shawarma in south London, the meat literally melts in your mouth. And the service from Sal is A1 (top notch) a man who knows good food! Will definitely be recommending & visiting again 🏆 🥇
This place is an absolute gem. Can't believe we've walked passed so many times and hadn't popped in until now. Highly recommend getting a good selection of meats, rice and the beautifully presented salads. The staff are welcoming, funny and friendly. Next time you're in New Cross you should definitely stop in

The best Lebanese in South London. Top service, top meals, great value. The chilli and garlic sauces are both excellent, meat is quality and salads add freshness. Can’t fault it.
My current favorite spot of a delicious shawarma, both lamb and chicken are excellent! The toppings options are incredible and you won’t find an offer better than their lunch special. The staff is always friendly as well.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aloosh, and I am delighted to give it a resounding five-star review. The customer service was second to none and the food was extremely flavour-full. I've ordered numerous times and each time the food has been extraordinary. The owner was very friendly and helped with suggestions for what food items go together really well. Will be returning for more!
For just around 5 pounds, I have discovered the most incredible halloumi wrap ever. Period. Not only is the price a steal, but the manager of the place is extremely friendly and welcoming. I find myself visiting almost every day now. Unbeatable value for money! Must try!!!!

I first visited Aloosh by chance and I definitely was not disappointed. Sal the chef manager certainly knows how to deliver great service and exceptional food. I had the lamb shish and Sal recommended the chicken wings which succulent and full of favour. Highly recommended, can't wait to make my next trip there again.

We are 4 chileans on tour playing music in uk & europe, so a good place to eat is the most important. Here we tried everything in the menu. Kebabs, wraps, sandwiches and all is 10/10. The service, outstanding and the ambient, what we can say... clean, friendly, awesome. We really loved Aloosh. Hands down
I really don’t want to leave a review as I’m tired after a long day of work … but I’ve dragged myself to the computer to find this restaurant’s review page. Because this restaurant basically puts all other takeaways to shame. Amazing quality food, very reasonably priced, tasty, cooked to perfection (not over cooked!) and delivered to me piping hot. Thank you for the best takeaway I’ve had for years. My tip: order direct!
I have never eaten such a wrap that lamb is more than vege (with £8.5 only). Every freaking bite is a mouthful of meat. The shish is freaking tender as well. Even the fries and salad are in next level compared to your average donor shop. I dont usually leave comment but this place is absouluty a big juicer. Keep it up!
Amazing place for Libanese food! The quality is incredible! If you are vegetarian or not, it's definetly the place to be to enjoy libanese flavors❤️! And the people working there are really nice!

Lamb shawarma and halloumi wrap, incredible.
Unfortunately they were refilling onion when wrap was made so missed out which would’ve made it 11/10 but the meat/halloumi were the stars - lamb especiallly cooked to perfection, so juicy and soft
Salad was crisp and fresh, sauces were great
Would travel the 40 mins it takes to get here just for these

All the dishes are so flavourful, the salads are amazing, the meats are juicy but crispy, the falafels are superb! Go and try it!
