Ordered beer and jerk chicken, it was amazing. Loved the place and the ambience. I was lucky enough to get the place, would recommend to anyone who js new to call and reserve the table before going to this place especially during lunch or peak time and festive seasons. Highly recommend to anyone who love local brewed beer and good authentic jerk chicken.

Third time buying and this time a takeaway. Food packaged well. Nice staff. Never been outside and chilled but people are always laughing or talking, with good vibes of music in the background. Good vibes when you walk inside. If you're looking for a local spot to hang out in the day, a good place to go with good food and vibes. Not sure about the nightlife, never been but heard it turns into a bar/club on Fridays and Saturdays. This time I ordered rice and peas and jerk chicken with sauce, and coleslaw and the chef put in a little gift and the surprise was sticky honey wings, which I have become a fan of. Thank you again.

Chicken and chips!!Oh my!!! The chicken and chips is jerk chicken with this sauce and fries seasoned with a garnish. The jerk chicken was soooo good I was dancing while eating. It’s seasoned with perfect spices and it’s so moist it melts in your mouth. Absolutely the best jerk chicken I have ever had!! My sister had the honey and chilli chicken wings with chips. Her wings were delicious too. This is a great spot for dinner and drinks. The drink menu is long and there are Happy Hour specials at certain times on certain days. They have bathrooms with plenty of stalls especially for all the ladies. We made a reservation and I highly recommend it because it’s first come sit where you want and if you want good seating a reservation is the way to go especially if you have a party size over 3. They play good music all throughout and it’s a friendly laidback environment. You have to check them out. They also have outdoor seating too and it’s comfortable seating. Swing by and get a good drink with some good jerk chicken and enjoy the music. Highly recommend!!!!

We rented the 1st floor music room to host a 70th birthday party at the Prince of Peckham Pub. The Prince of Peckham is a local community pub run by a local black entrepreneur. It specialises in hosting local community events and providing career's in hospitality to young members of the local community. The ground floor pub is very busy and they also have an outdoor seating area There is also a Kareoke room on the first floor which is very popular. The staff were very friendly and helpful the service was good. They also have a kitchen which provides a range of finger food and other dishes. On Saturdays they also have a DJ. A good location to meet friends for a drink some food and a dance.

First thing first, make sure you book your table in advance if you want to sit down in this place. It seems that you can only sit for a fixed period of time as we were turfed out of our seats because our table was booked for someone else at a particular time, “so annoying” this place is not far fro Peckham Rye and is quite spacious they have a private area upstairs then the main area on the ground floor and a basement space with a tiny bar. My honest assessment of this place on a Friday night is chaos, ordering from the main bar is a nightmare. Four of us decided to meet up at this place and order some food and drinks. We all ordered the Jerk Chicken and fries which came with coleslaw well at least that’s what I think it was. The food was bland and tasteless with not even a hint of spice, if you know anything about Jerk chicken it’s meant to be spicy. Buy the time the food arrived it was luke warm so immediately bad brownie points. Don’t forget this was after we were all moved from our precious table. No one enjoyed the food I checked to make sure I wasn’t just being a “Jerk” excuse the pun. The portion was fair but as mentioned tasteless. The other and most annoying thing is the drinks. I ordered rum and coke and the barman went to serve me from their drinks fountain. I know that it was not real coke so I asked him for a can of coke. He said they had none but I had already seen the cans in the upstairs bar so he went and brought down two cans. He then poured out half a can in my glass and used the other half in my colleagues drink. Later on that evening one of my colleagues bought drinks again and this time they used the disgusting tasting cola in the drink which ruined the drinks completely. The positives was that the atmosphere was fun and friendly the place felt safe because the security was on point. The security staff were polite and friendly. Some of the staff were really nice and helpful especially a young lady with dreads so was so apologetic when we had to move and helpful throughout the evening. The music was great apart from when the dj changed for a short while but overall music was fantastic. This really is a great place and with a great atmosphere as mentioned but the little things can ruin a night such as cheap cola instead of Coca Cola as a first option. I would need omens this place for the 25-30ish year olds it’s a nice place to hand out. They also have outside seating I forgot to mention which in the summer is going to be rammed. So food 6 out of 10, atmosphere 10 out of 10, drinks expensive and suspect. No score. Staff 10-10.

We came for Sunday lunch and the kitchen is run by White Men Can’t Jerk. Our food was excellent; full of flavour and nicely presented too. Due to a fault, many of the beers/ales on tap were unavailable on our visit. Staff were friendly and helpful though.

Bar service took a while but the food and ambiance of the place is brilliant.

We had a wonderful time catching up with family over Sunday dinner and a few drinks. Very reasonably priced, absolutely delicious food, and a great atmosphere. The host was very warm and friendly - her energy was top tier. The only drawback was the slow and, at times, haphazard service as a result of being understaffed. That said, it is a very nice pub and I look forward to returning many more times in the future.
