Kind place to have a couple of tea, or classic English breakfast. Yes, it's nothing special, but it's done with friendly and funny staff around you.
This is such a lovely place for a quick breakfast. The staff are so warm and friendly . Don't go expecting a creative menu ,its just very basic but done perfectly.
Their grilled chicken burger deserves a special mention .
Chefs Delight has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the food is excellent. Every visit I leave happy and satisfied and eat a lot of food :D
Just a really good fry up. A decent amount of food, well priced and boss man was very friendly. Egg nice and runny. Crispy hash browns. Perfect amount of beans. Sorted my hangover out instantly on Sunday afternoon. Thanks lads.

Very friendly cafe. Have been so many times with friends that we are welcomed when we arrive. Service is very prompt & we usually have hot drinks & a snack, ideal on cold days or when you've finished other tasks such as shopping. An ideal haven for anyone to visit for a brief respite before carrying on with the rest of the day.

Best of all was when an autistic child and his dad came in they left straight away they said it was too busy, but the owner went running out to them to see if he could help or make it more comfortable for the son. Never seen such good and respectful service.

Chefs Delight is a lovely large cafe/restaurant in the centre of Sydenham. Decor is getting a bit dated but the food, service and vibe of the place is excellent. The staff have been there for ages but that doesn't mean any stagnation. They are still on top if their game and that has to be commend. Long may their success continue.
Timeless place which will always be a must while I live in the area. My whole family is known in chefs which is typical of this lovely family run business that's been going strong my whole adult life. A fav with everyone
