Had an amazing experience at The Field! Beautiful 5 course tasting menu consisting only of plants, although there is the option to add fish or meat to two of the dishes. These were my two favourite dishes: Cabbage and Onion, so many flavours and textures from only 2 humble ingredients! And roasted cauliflower with pickled cauliflower and caramelised yeast and cauliflower purée and a delicious roasted vegetable jus. Looking forward to coming back to try the lunch menu!

I wasn't sure what to expect from the food, but I was really amazed by how tasty and varied the food was. Incredibly talented chefs making Vegan food taste and look unique and delicious. I'm not vegan, but I'd happily eat here often. I guarantee anyone who eats here will love the food. I could see and hear the surprise from the other customers when their food arrived. I love the way that the chefs came out to explain about the food, too. Really made it interesting. Will definitely be going back soon.

4 of us went and loved it , very unusual delicious 5 course menu especially loved the Asparagus dish and Pine Nut Cocoa Butter Carvolo Nero dish , its all Vegan/Vegetarian, but you can add fish or meat to main course. Well worth going !

Amazing food and great atmosphere! Whether it be the plant based dinner tasting menu which has add ons for those hard core carnivores, or a more casual lunch menu it is a great place all round! The Chefs are friendly and passionate about their customers having a great dining experience, they even came over to explain some of the dishes and the great concept behind the menu. I tried the bottomless brunch this past Sunday with some friends, the food did not dissappoint and the bottomless prosecco was good quality and delicious! Such a good deal! The music was great and they have tables outside which is fab in summer! Highly recommend!

Nice afternoon in The Field. The good weather allowed us to be spend our time in the outside area to enjoy the sun and breeze. The food was amazing, the service good and all served with a smile. Great spot that might be a little hard to find, but well worth the effort.

Went to the Field for dinner, the 5 course tasting menu was incredible, each dish was a tasty and inspiring experience. Particularly loved their version of surf and turf with sea vegetables, sea lettuce, kelp, pan fried celeriac with olives which came with a delicious mushroom broth... You should also try the Cashew paste and there was an incredible sweet corn custard pudding with Vanilla and Lion's Mane (a sweet mushroom!) There is an option to add free range / organic meat or fish depending on the menus. The wine list is also a winner, tried a couple of the white wines and they were both of outstanding quality. Went back for Brunch on Sunday as the menu was different, it was as good if not better, try the deep fried jumbo cauliflower with hot sauce!!

I didn't know what to expect when heading to The Field for the first time. Safe to say this is up there with the best vegetarian/vegan food I have ever had, certainly the best in a very long time. It was as if we were enjoying fine dining food in a casual, friendly East London setting at a completely affordable cost. What these guys have done with flavours and creativity by using plant based products is exceptional and it makes for a real treat - something even top restaurants are yet to master. I recommend enjoying it tasting menu style and sharing as many dishes as you can! I can't wait to see what the future holds for this restaurant and will most certainly be back.

We went here for dinner and it didn’t disappoint! We were greeted with a smile and decided to try one of everything from the very creative vegan menu. Every dish was brought out to us by the chef and he explained the ingredients which was a really nice touch. Everything was so tasty and the owner (Ryan) even came out and was super friendly explaining his plans and vision. Would definitely recommend, really good food and great service. A new local for us in Hackney :)

Fantastic 5 course vegan menu, we were only going to have 3 courses but it was so good we wanted to try everything! Small but interesting wine list. Friendly service and great music. Would definitely recommend. Now planning a daytime visit for bottomless brunch!

I’ve never left a restaurant review before but the quality of the food at The Field has made me break from my lazy ways and say something. The food was exceptional- a true contender for the best meal in a neighbourhood rich with dining options. The kitchen is run by two passionate people who have put creativity and passion into the menu. What’s more, every dish at The Field is designed to be served without meat, but meat can be added as an option, making it the perfect restaurant for 2018. Go. Eat. Enjoy.

What a fantastic restaurant! Outdoor seating , live music... amazing talent could literally sit here all day listening to this musician. The Chef is outstanding and super friendly. The food was on another level. We did brunch with bottomless handcrafted artisanal Prosecco and a wonderful vegan menu, although there are also add on options for non vegans such as Halloumi, Bacon and salmon.... Best pancakes I have ever eaten and same goes for the crushed avacado on sourdough toast. Wonderful atmosphere and food! Highly recommended for brunch, lunch and dinner!

Had the most amazing bottomless brunch experience- the food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. The chefs (Nick and Ryan) are super talented and have created a unique plant based dining experience which you will definitely enjoy, even if you are not vegan.

I live a stones throw away from this gem and now am here a few times a week for weekend brunch or dinner. I’m not vegan or veggie - I eat it all - but this place would even make the biggest carnivore consider re-evaluating their eating. It’s off the charts delicious and by far my favourite restaurant in this neck of the woods.

We had an incredible experience at The Field. We had the 5 course tasting menu and everything was delicious. The service was very good too, they were especially accommodating for food allergies. Would 100% recommend.

Came down for birthday celebrations, food was insane and given I am the biggest meat eater going, leaving completely satisfied & full of yummy plant based food is 5* review in itself! Can’t wait to come back for your brunch 😍
