Vital Ingredient is the fast-food restaurant for all salad and wrap lovers. Vital Ingredient offers a wide range of personalized salad bowls consisting of either a quinoa or lettuce base. Personally, I prefer the quinoa base. The next step is selecting 4 toppings for the salad out of a large list of options. Other options include hot soups as well as wraps, from which the halloumi wrap is excellent.
With the restaurant closed on Sundays, make sure you visit on any of the other days. Usually the fast-food chain is not very busy and there is always seating available, even during lunch hours!
Vital Ingredient offers a range of really good soups and is very full of lunch goers during the week. It is mostly takeaway and tends to close early. After the lunch-rush there is often not much more food left, so I would go there early.
I loved this salad bar! And everyone was super nice to me. I tried the Mediterranean salad, and yes it is a bit expensive for a salad (Had the big one) but it was either that or spending the same amount of money for a less nutritious meal. I felt really happy with my choice and will be going there more often!
Very nice place with kind staff. You can mix your own salad or have a desert, smoothies. There is a lot of space to sit or you can have take away order.
