Fabulous fresh sushi and Japanese drinks from this stall in the Centre Court upper level. Authentic flavours and beautiful presentation. The only problem is that limited seating is available, so take away is your main option, no way for a group dining or family experience with the set up at present.
Ta-Maki in Wimbledon is a little stall with bar seating that does pretty nice chicken katsu curry. Mostly, it's not overly busy and you get your food quickly, freshly prepared.
Ta-Maki within the Centre Court Shopping Centre next to Wimbledon station is another of my favourite lunch spots at the moment.
I usually always order a small chicken katsu curry and while I like the sauce at other places nearby a little bit more, I think they have perhaps the best chicken. The staff are friendly and efficient.
The food is ready after only a short wait, yet still freshly prepared on-site, I think - just what I need in my lunch break. Nothing spectaular, but tasty and consistent.
