fantastic bangla food in london. £60 for a lot of food. prawn bharta - 10/10 prawn w/ spinach - 9/10 shutki chutney - 9/10, paste rather than chunky mashed potatoes - 9, mustard oil taste papda fish - 6, ok bowal - 10/10 fish, 7/10 gravy phirni - 10/10, got it free. not that sweet. perfect dessert
No frills place on Brick Lane. If you are looking to experience authentic Bengali food them Amar Gaon (loterally meaning My Village) is a must visit... they do small plates so don't hesitate to ask and taste as many dishes as possible...

Went with my sister in law who visited from Sweden and wanted proper Bangladeshi food. Food was amazing and great service. Highly recommended.

Food of Amar gaon is the best Bangladeshi food in east London . Original home made food , good customer service value for money highly recommend.
