First time I visited them they was closed, I came back the next day to get some oxtail. You best believe this is the best oxtail I’ve had in London. I come down from Essex just to get some food. I’ve been recommending this place so far to everyone I know! It’s worth the wait it’s worth every single penny. Great Food Great People Great Service Keep IT going
Wow ! Had my first food from here today. Oxtail ! I can honestly say it was the best oxtail I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size too. There was enough for 2 people with coleslaw, salad, rice and peas and it was only 5 gold coins !!!!! Thank you guys for the jokes while waiting and the beautiful soul food x
You have to queue but it's worth it , lovely people and delicious food at a great price. The octal melted in my mouth.
Jerk in the Park has the best food this side of the river they can cook, they have flavour, the price is good and portion is not a la Carte. After you eat you know you have eaten and then you can just go to sleep Big up Jerk in the Park

Amazing food chicken and goat falls off the bone so tender rice is perfect..xx thankyou for such good food
Best carribean food I've had in London. Always big portions for a good price and top quality food. Since discovering this place I can't stop going back!
The food is absolutely amazing especially the the jerk beef or the fried dumplings ( with jerk chicken inside )
I HIGHLY recommend you try the food!!
Ive been eating here for about a year and a half and the foods licking.... the first time i had it my tongue drilled a hole in the top of my mouth and slapped my brain about... wicked, id recommend it to anyone
Well worth the wait......a must, when looking for authentic Caribbean cuisine!
Good, tasty, wholesome food; generous portions, served with a smile and of course - reggae music!
Thank you Jerk-in-da-Park! Respect!!
Just sampled some jerk chicken from Dionne's sister and it was so tasty and tender! Been a while since I have jerk and this defo made me want to buy some! Will be dropping by when I'm next in the area!
2nd to None ! The ultimate best .. . . mouthwatering just thinking about it. Awesome food, BBQ is the boom and I will be back on Monday. Awesome ~ blessings O:)
Friendly, good service and very entertaining. Food was lovely too.
The best Jerk chicken I've ever had, love everything about this stand!
The best Caribbean food in london, the chicken is barbecued fresh in the park. I have tried all of their food, and I rate it 10 out 10. These guys have been here for years, and when you taste their food, you will know why. They make the best curry goat and oxtail. Their portions are big and one size, they will have different food on the menu on each day but they always serve jerk chicken every day, come early to get the food because they can be big ques.
I have got to this place based on a recommendation of my friend. And after experiencing the meal form the place, I would do the same.
I had never got jerk chicken before visiting this place, but when I got to the stand, I heard just praises form people around. I can agree that the taste is amazing and the portion size makes you very full.
There is no sitting area directly at the place, it's mostly the stand in a park. The meals are served directly in take away boxes. I ate my portion while sitting at a bench in the park.
It's the best/easiest to eat the meal with your own hands, especially the chicken. Because of that, you will have your hands dirty and suitable for washing afterwards. I have found some tap with water in the park, which is very convenient for this kind of case.
Expect a long queue, and I mean really long and slowly moving queue, to get your meal. Get to the place earlier, because the meals are sold out for the day at 1 PM without any problem.
Visiting London from out of town and heard this chicken was a must have, so we travelled across London for it. It did not disappoint. We had the jerk chicken and jerk beef rib - both were beautiful, so so tasty. Recommend having without sauce to get the full flavour of the marinade. Both juicy and tender. Definitely worth the trip!
Staying at the Hampton, looking for authentic Jamaican food…found it at Jerk in da Park. Just a walk down the block to the park. Jerk chicken with rice and peas, oxtail with rice and peas, and bun an cheese for under £25! With good portion size? Could never find these prices in the States. Definitely stop by if you have tastebuds and want them to get excited.
Amazing food and atmosphere. It was an authentic Jamaican culinary experience, with a very warm and chatty staff. Loved this little shack in the park, highly recommended for a laid back, casual snack/lunch with friends/family! See you again soon!
Went here for my lunch break, food was 10/10 good size portions. Queue can get busy during peak hours, but defo worth it.
I smelled like smoke all day. Best day ever. 😅
I’ve been waiting to eat here for a while but the closing and opening times disrupted with my own schedule, finally got a meal and it exceeded my expectations, it’s so delicious and customer service was so lovely !! I will definitely be visiting more often, highly recommended!!!
If you are in Waterloo area which is very close to the train station and you fancy west Indian food; which has an authentic taste don't look no further, they have a number of different dishes which change on a daily basis. They cater for vegetarians, fish & meat lovers (No Pork, Rasta don't dine with swine) but you must not forget there signature dish Jamaican Jerk Chicken 🔥which is second to none.
They also make a number of homemade jucies to compliment every meal which you may decide to order.
You won't come across a family owned business which is 💯% commited to pleasing each and every customer day in day out, to offer you value for money and so much food for the public, tourist and office staff in the surrounding area.
Thanks Jerk In Da Park keep up the excellent work it's more than appreciated.
Best jerk chicken in London. I eat here every week. Try the homemade mango chilli sauce if you love spicy food.
Dont forget to tip. The owners are locals and they give free food and drinks to the people in need.
Really good Jerk Chicken, tender and flavorful but the rice is too dry. Big portion for £7.
Delicious Carribbean food of a high quality (and quantity) which packs a spicy punch! Make sure to try the mango sauce, it blows away any other street food or supermarket sauces (as well as your head off).
I've had carribean food in the Carribbean Islands, plus in New York and here in London -
And this is amongst the best.
Delicious, good value for money.
The curry goat, oxtail, Jerk Chicken, cow foot and beef soup are all tremendous.
The couple running the stall are the sweetest and friendliest.
Support a local business!
Had food for my aunties 50th birthday honestly one of the best jerks I’ve tasted!! Absolutely delicious friendly owners and staff!! Will be back in a hurry!
PENGALING! BUMTINGS! Best Jerk Chicken in London. Get the hot sauce - its packs a real punch!
Chicken, rice n peas all on point. Solid lunch, will be returning for the goat.
Outrageously good, lovely staff, 10/10
Very well cooked, juicy chicken with chared skin, authentically cooked in a barrel. Lovely rice and fresh salad with a bit of the gravy on the rice was a good touch. My only criticism would be that the jerk rub/marinade wasn't strong enough for me. However, I would definitely go back.
