This place if your a regular usually gives you a warm welcome. I have often seen all staff take a particular interest in making parents and children comfortable. I am usually greeted with a smile and some memory of what I and my partner usually order. The cafe has that feel of a community cafe with its regulars and inside feels warm and inviting. I think even for a new customer the cafe would still be fairly inviting. My favourite thing at this cafe is the fried breakfast, its is a decent size for the price and its one of the best full breakfasts I have had locally and I have tried a few at different price points. This is a typical English breakfast menu but there are no hard beans or really greasy food and the bread used is crunchy and fluffy. I have also enjoyed a bacon sandwich here. We have also tried poached eggs on toast, just toast, milkshakes and avocado on toast and all were great apart from the avocado on toast. The avocado on toast was a little hard and lacking in flavour but that is probably a seasonal thing. I have rated four stars on the food because although the food is good and well presented it isnt exceptional. The inside of the cafe is exceptionally well maintained and spotless no matter the weather. The decor inside is well maintained and the feel of the cafe is neat and of good quality for the price point of the food. It is very clearly a well loved business and it is always at least half full when we visit so it seems popular too.

I always get a warm welcome from the guys at mega. Good service and a great, straightforward menu. They also do their best to come up with things that might not even be on the menu.

Love this cafe. Have never had any issues with anything I've ordered. To be fair they always go above and beyond my expectations. My son adores it aswell and loves the staff. Always friendly and helpful.

Great little cafe. They just refurbed so the atmosphere is really nice with an outdoor area. I usually have a ham and cheese omelette with chips and salad which is very tasty. Today I had one of their Turkish omelette which was amazing. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I have been going to the Mega Cafe for quite a few years. I have got to know the owners & staff really well. Their food is always delicious, they have a good selection on their menu, good value for money & great customer service. I highly recommend it.
