Benugo - Great Portland Street

Loved the vibe of this place, and it drew me in as I was walking by. Casual, chic, but honey rustic. Great place to sit a while with a laptop or chat with a friend. I especially liked the archway window seats. Loved the small but mighty selection of ready to go meals, which all ingredients and calories listed. I had the vege pesto pasta which was delicious. Also a big selection of sandwiches and lots of coffee options. Will return.

This Benugo bar is ok. Atmosphere is informal and it's customer friendly. They have good variety of sandwiches (served toasted) with vegetarian and vegan options. Teas are ok as well, I wouldn't know coffee since I don't drink it. Service is normally kind and quick. It is in a good position, close to Oxford street but far enough not to get overwhelmed with shopping people. Prices are not the cheapest ones but the quality/price rate is fair.

It's not often you find a cafe near Oxford Street with plenty of seating - and space to breathe! Great spot for getting out your laptop and getting on with a bit of work. Food is a better offering than pret. I would highly recommend the goulash if it's on the menu! Cant vouch for the coffee as it's quite expensive so never tried. The food is a slightly pricier than your average lunch chain but it's well worth it to be able to grab a seat and relax in the midst of Oxford Circus madness.

This coffee chain ties for first place in the league of small but decent coffee chains in London. Level pegging with Tapped and Packed for quality of coffee, Benugo is better equipped for speedy lunch break visits with a smooth service workflow very similar to the likes of Eat. The food selection is decent, and there's plenty of seating in here if you want to stick around, including a window bar which is great for people watching.
