Was thinking of heading there again next year while I am there for the London Marathon. But after looking up this on google again, I noticed that it is temporarily closed.
Was there in 2019 and it was probably the best breakfast place I have been in the neighbourhood. The food is awesome, and portions are extremely generous. Love their sandwiches and pasta dishes.
I hope they will open soon before next year.

If you are in need of a huge dose of carbohydrates, this is the place to go. £6.50 for a portion of pasta, with a side of pasta. I felt like a python who has eaten a small deer and didn't have to eat again for a few months afterwards. Service can get a bit slow when busy though.

Excellent, if enormous plates of pasta welcome you. We'll worth sitting in to dine in this traditional, no frills, Clerkenwell cafe. A great lunch retreat.

Authentic Italian family feel, gastronomy with a heart, positive vibe, practically no hype, simple full of flavours, very hearty portions, a tuna sandwich is big enough for three people, or one who is very hungry, tomato soup is top notch, as a quick bite stop over spit you will struggle to find something better in Clerkenwell. Looks like a every day sandwich shop from the outside. Make no mistake here, it is not. Belissimo!!! Thank you!!! 5 stars throuout.

Broad and effortable variety of food. They mostly have pasta, but also other food like oven potatoes. Vegetarian options available. It gets quite busy at lunch, but they are serving quickly despite.
Bring a good appetite, the portions are huge!

What a gem of a spot! Visiting from Australia and I will absolutely put this place towards the top of my list of best London spots. As much as I know I should branch out to try new places, I keep going back to this charming hole in the wall spot!
