Fab place fir lunch buzzy vibrant friendly staff quick service good food well done
The private dining room was amazing! Thank you so much Jamie for accommodating my 30th. Would definitely recommend! šš
The private room upstairs is so spacious and it has its own bar- bonus! The staff are really hospitable and friendly and I therefore host a number of business events here. Everyone leaves with a good impression.
Also check out the food menu with friends and family. Something for all tastes- adults and kids serving throughout the day. Regular footie and rugby matches are shown here if that's what you are into. 5 stars as there is something for everyone- and very close to Clapham Junction station.
What a great vibrant place, loved it. Great place for catch ups.
Great pub with great atmosphere. Felt very comfortable and the food was great....

Absolutely great pub:-) Met many ppl... Nice atmosphere :)))
Had an amazing roast dinner here last week! Will definitely be back :)
Now that weāve discovered the wonders of the great British Sunday roast, it seems we canāt stop. Especially since the temperatures dropped and the days are getting ridiculously shorter, weāre loving curling up by the fire with a good Sunday roast. Recently opened The Northcote in Battersea invited us in one lazy Sunday, and we instantly fell in love with the place when we were greeted with a DIY Bloody Mary setup at our own table. We both adore a good Bloody Mary and with all the tomato juice, citrus and spices stirred up in there itās practically a health drink. As well as two tall glasses with a measure of vodka in each, there was a large jug of tomato juice, Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire Sauce. Accompanying that spread were four small bowls of horseradish, turmeric, paprika and Cajun spice.

Located in Clapham, the pub has a very twee British vibe that's obviously catering to the upwardly-mobileĀ nouveau bourgeoisie that live in the area - think: Jamie Oliver trying to be the 'everyday' man but still somewhat self-conscious of the fact that he earns more than the man on the street. I have many peeves about British food but a nice piece of pan fried liver served with proper bacon, creamy mash and gravy isn't one of them. This was a pretty decent sized serve and also pretty decent in taste.
A great place to have a pint and a plate of meat. The new menu makes this place definitely worth a
I highly recommend the chicken and chorizo skewers. Chicken and pork skewered together, whats not to love.
Great selection of drinks loads of choices of vodka rum loads of unusual brands you wouldn't expect to see. Always busy with quirky art work and the food looks fantastic. Will come back to try for sure.
Difficult to beat for pub grub. Northcote is abuzz with friendly punters and staff, easy going vibe with really good food, lamb particularly good and if you want a hearty meal, a fine ale and a good atmosphere on the northcote road, it is hard to beat. Nevertheless, it is pub food and it is important to expect nothing more, michelin starred it ain't but enjoy it, a thoroughly english experience.
A fine, gentle unassuming offering from Young's. The Northcote in Battersea is a little quirky, of the shabby chic genre. The beer is plentiful and varied. Only one cask ale on today though (at least as far as I could see). A modest but appealing selection on the menu, wholly appropriate for the place. A most enjoyable drink was had.
We went as a small group of friends to catch up over a drink but ended up staying for a bite of food as well. Jack H served us and was on point with personal and professional service always ensuring we had our drinks topped up and that everything was to our liking. Would highly recommend!
The Northcote is really the epitome of Clapham (despite being Battersea really). Everyone knows Northcote Road and everyone knows The Northcote. The pub itself is actually fairly generic, apart from being on a busy corner with large windows bathing it in natural light.
*The* pub for the Clapham sect (little history reference for you buffs) so expect gilets, blokes called Monty, lots of blondes, discussions about skiing trips etcā¦..you get the idea. This isnāt a criticism - itās got a fun and youthful vibe, in many ways itās a local institution and a must visit.
Only quibble is that the beer selection could and should be much better. Given the crowd they really should be showcasing some good craft beer.
A great pub with an authentic experience! Very good selection of beverages made better when served by my new Australian friend James. Experience was definitely enhanced by the friendly customer service I received from James and his colleagues. Thanks for a great session, will definitely be returning!!
Went to this fine establishment on Sunday to enjoy a great game of rugby. Was served by this lovely Australian whoās name was James and he was a superstar, had great service and was really enjoyable to talk to. I would recommend this pub to everyone so they have the pleasure of meeting James šš»
I had a fantastic time at the Northcote Pub, thanks to Mia's outstanding customer service. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable and gave me all the right recommendations. The pub had a great atmosphere, delicious food, and drinks. Highly recommended!
Nice people š
Nice beer šŗ
Dog friendly
We enjoyed a summer day here š
I visited the Northcote a few weeks ago and could not recommend highly enough. My friend was running really late so I was sitted by myself for over an hour. A lovely young girl names Mia had excellent customer service skills coming over to make sure I had a drink. She chatted about her newest venture of moving to London and was so friendly and warm. She had excellent service and a genuine passion for hospitality. Many thanks Northcote and Mia!
Had a catch up with the girls at the pub for a cheeky cocktail and some dinner. The Steak and Onion sandwich was great and, so was the service from the lovely and quite handsome Australia bartender James. Not only will I be going back to the Northcote but, he made me want to visit Australia and catch up with him.
I had the chicken Sunday roast. It was pretty good without being excellent. The portion was quite large.
The venue is pretty and welcoming.
The service was good.
Price-wise, I'd say that charging nearly £20 for a roast is excessive. Plus, the quality didn't warrant it.
