Best halal curry in London. You gotta hit this joint best pumpkin curry out there, don't go anywhere else but to ivory arch. Go thank the owner and chef they put in good work.

Great choice of dishes for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.

The green banana curry is the best. Be warned, it had quite a bit of a kick. The inner venue at the back is way nicer than the shallow dining area at the front of the shop.

Had an amazing time in London and the Ivory Arch restaurant made my experience so much better! The best food I have ever tasted in my life! Such wonderful employees and the owner, Bahar is absolutely the best guy in London! This restaurant has made me want to come live in London so I could have access to the delicious food whenever I need it!

Ivory Arch has the scrappy charm of a roadside eatery in a developing country somewhere, but not in a bad way. The aggressive high school prom lights twinkling away and the corrugated metal siding transport you most of the way there, but it's the waiter's seeming annoyance that people would dare to eat there on a Friday night.
We started with some papadum, which as usual is just an excuse/vehicle for mango chutney and yogurt sauce. The mains were average London curries, nothing to call home about, but also nothing that thrusts you into power on the ivory throne later.
The sag gost (spinach and lamb) is solid here, and we wiped up every bit of it with the buttery naan.
The rajma isn't a dish I've seen anywhere else, and it's honestly pretty good. French beans and chick peas cooked in a yellow slush of onions and peppers, it's a good way to earn back some food karma after all the other meaty meats.
Ivory Arch transforms into a takeaway place on the other end linked by a small kitchen, so don't be afraid to holler at your waiter if you need anything. Poor guy is trying to run two joints at the same time, so resist helping yourself to the bar in the back.
Bill came out to £20 per person, but the six of us had appetizers, mains, breads & rice, and multiple rounds of Tiger beers (and a parting shot round for the road just for luck).

I'm really surprised this place has some negative reviews... I think all of the fans of the Indian food know it and definitely prefer it than the other ones in this part of London. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, the staff is polite and you can be sure they'll treat you like a king.
Don't forget to try the some of the special dishes like Tikka Masala and Tandoori Rezala - they're just amazing.

The Elephant & Castle is changing so much that its very hard to find anything from the past. The Ivory Arch is an old trusted friend that my colleges and I use. We have just finished a wonderful evening there, eating and drinking. As always we were treated kindly and served the best curry ever, it gets better every time. I noticed, that they have a night called, "Soulful Sundays with Full Live Band & Open Mic." Interesting, I think I may take, " A Nose."

I have seen some mix reviews about this great establishment. Some are just too rubbish to be true! I am a local customer, I know this restaurant to be over 28 years in business under the same ownership. It has pioneered home delivery, live entertainment, private hire, events. The Ivory Arch is a land mark for the Elephant & Castle. I simply know the restaurant for, " friendly staff and delicious food."

Just did a search for," Ivory Arch." I was very surprised to find not much reviews. I have been eating in this restaurant for the last 3 years with over students. It is a very popular place, the food is cooked to order, so you know its always fresh. The prices are very reasonable, even for students. And the food is amazing .... nothing short of amazing.
They also do a night called, " Soulful Sundays @ the Ivory Arch with Open Mic," its a live music night with a full band. The Sunday night is also very popular, very busy.

I ate at the Ivory Arch last night. The food was amazing, it was affordable and the staff were very attentive. I am thinking of having a birthday dinner and will be going to the Ivory Arch with my friends and family next month.
