We had a Tonkotsu Ramen and a Tokyo Ramen. The Tonkotsu was good. However, the pork of Tokyo Ramen was too salted and the soup was not as hot as Tonkotsu Ramen. If visit here, I will recommend Tonkotsu Ramen.

Stopped for a quick bite after shopping. The Chilli Chicken Ramen was steaming hot and the husband enjoyed it. I quite liked my pork gyoza and loved the edamame beans. Was considering buying their chilli bits oil, but it wasn't spicy enough for us.

Seating is like a sushi bar / ramen bar. If you want more comfortable seating, carry a takeaway.

On the quest for Ramen in London, and probably you will be visiting the venue.
The stock is deep and rich, the dish has a kind of healing texture- and you are waiting to devour a cure for your stomach if you could get in. Cheap on prices, hip around the lovers of Japanese.  what I liked most, was the creamy feel of the slow-cooked pork. Considering to take a friend, so that he can enjoy the genuine Ramen and go for a change of opinion on Japanese cuisine.

go there when you are running on empty and just make a bold statement: the ramen does not have to be the instant noodle convenience food, noodles and pieces of meat and veggie swimming in a hazy colored, warm cloud.

pushs your luck for the semi-communal table if you are a hungry bunch, and go for the prawn gyoza if you are asking for more. I would not consider myself a big fan of tofu, but if you are an addict, they have a milky and soft tofu appeal.  I was all to hesitant to try out the Dalston cola, a cola made of natural ingredients and kola nuts (?) - as I had just a lingering taste on my tongue, to stay with me. just another reason for the next time at Tonkotsu.

I didn't expect that I could have a great ramen in Selfridges at a reasonable price! The place is right in the middle of the food hall, where you have all the shelves with products behind you. The atmosphere can be a little unsettling as it can get busy during the day, but I liked that they have only a few counter seats facing the kitchen, just like ramen shops in Japan. What made me happy is that they have Soy-sauce broth ramen! In London, it’s not easy to find ramen other than tonkotsu ramen. The soy sauce ramen “Tokyo” was very decent and not too oily, and I loved it 😊 Also the staff were very kind and helpful. I appreciate that one of them advised me not to keep my phone on the counter as it could be stolen. I would love to come back here again! 😊

This ramen spot is really always a good idea ♥️ Such a gem hidden in Selfridges ! ++ The food was really really good ! It’s hard to find non-tonkotsu ramen in London, and I was very happy to see this little spot while I was shopping there. I got the Tokyo ramen. The broth was tasty, the marinated egg was flavourful and the meat was delicious. Absolutely 10/10 for this bowl of ramen ! The service was 10/10 too ! I sadly forgot the name of the blond lady who served me, but she was a ray of sunshine ! Super friendly and knowledgeable, we talked about ramen for a bit and it turned my alone meal into a memory making experience. = Not a negative point but to be signaled, I was seated on the last booth on the right side, and the position of the seat makes it that you kind of eat in front of your left neighbour. The seat can’t be moved, and I had to kinda seat crooked until my neighbours left and I didn’t feel awkward to just seat straight and facing their now empty spot :) - Nothing negative in that review ! I personally regret not buying their Chili sauce which made the ramen even better :) Thanks for reading !

Tonkotsu was yummy! We ordered Geki Kara Ramen and Japanese Mushroom (Summer Ramen) 🍜 Geki Kara was delicious, however, I guess I was expecting more than just half egg and pork with that kind of price. I wish would have just ordered a Tonkotsu, which is pretty similar to that dish. As a whole, it was yummy! The Japanese Mushroom summer ramen was lovely too, there was a lot of flavour and presentation was good. There's chilli oil sauce and soy sauce available on the side if you want a little kick of spice in your ramen! Service was quick! There's not a lot of seats available but when we went, it wasn't as busy as we thought. Staff were friendly and helpful! The atmosphere was good! As the place is a busy area, it can be quite loud but the area is spacious and even though people walk past you, they won't bump into you whole eating, lool! Overall, Tonkotsu always makes their food delicious and appetising! Some food were reasonable priced. I would recommend this place for lunch and dinner and you want quick service!

Shout out to the staff, friendly, chatty and service was efficient. The ramen was OK, the soup was too runny for my taste and I prefer it thick, also the noodles were a bit soft in prefer them harder, this is just my taste though, you will probably like it if you like ramen. Also the seats are all bar like seats, not the most comfortable and there are limited seats, so I reckon it can get a bit cramped during busy times. Bear this in mind if you have a bad back.

The ramen was quite good, but I’m not sure if that’s because we were starving after walking around Selfridges. We had bowls of the classic Tonkotsu Ramen and the Tokyo Ramen. I personally prefer the chicken broth and soy sauce base of the Tokyo rather than the creamy soup base of the Tonkotsu. Either way, this is a good spot to satisfy your cravings for warm, hearty soup on a cold winter’s day.

We only stopped for some cocktails and a mid afternoon snack of gyoza. When we arrived there were no seats available but the people that work there were extremely helpful and earmarked the next available seats for us. We had pork, ginger and garlic gyoza and prawn, spring onion and ginger gyoza, both were delicious. We also tried the Umeshu Spritz and Cherry Smoked Negroni cocktails - they were a perfect accompaniment. Efficient yet friendly service.

My fave pace to eat when in London. Sharma is the best! I could chat with him for hours. Made this an awesome experience. The shiitake gyoza, Devon crab and prawn ramen, and drinks were all 5 out of 5 stars.
