My favourite pub around. Friendly staff, Fair priced beer, nice regulars, open fire and clean toilets with lots of logs. Always warm and friendly.

Under new management, can see the improvements and highly recommend. It's cozy, with a good beer garden. Had Sunday roasts two consecutive weeks and the food was amazing - large portions and excellent quality meat. It's dog friendly, even treats for them at the bar :) The customer services from the new family are outstanding and wishes them all the success

Had a fabulous meal there today - beautiful food, huge portions, and very affordable! The manager and staff were very pleasant and accommodating of both our dog and toddler. Recommended!

I celebrated my birthday at this pub this year, I've always loved this place.
The managers are lovely and warm people, very friendly and very accommodating.
I am also celebrated my daughters birthday here this month, very excited.

A gorgeous quaint little pub with a great function room (fits about 60 people standing and about 35/40 seated). We chose this place for our sons christening and the staff were so so accomodating with absolutely everything. Evelyn the pub manager and her staff were so helpful with everything and went out of thier way to help with the prep and the day. The outside area is huge and the children had a blast exploring and playing outside (they allowed us to have the garden to ourselves making it safe and secure). We did our own food for the adults so can't really comment on thier food there although we did order nuggets and chips for the kids as extra and it was decent. I'll definitely be using this pub again for the next party. Thanks guys.

Can't fault it here! Friendly staff, great service, exceptional flavours and really accomodating for gluten free (gf flour etc). Traditional Indian flavours at a reasonable price + options for British cuisine which are just as good. 100% recommedation

We haven’t been to The Woodman for about a year so, hearing it is under new management, we thought we’d pop in last Thursday to see what it was like. We were not disappointed! The bar staff were friendly and welcoming and the curry dishes we ordered were outstanding, true restaurant quality and good size portions. We’ll definitely go back!

Great pub great people we are group of 8 People everyone enjoyed very much on Friday day evening I had a lovely Indian meal and I had a great chat with the chef who is well experience in cooking for last 17 years and the price is good I would recommend to anyone close friends and family for a great curry

I love it myself I would recommend everyone try new dishes. Very decent price and good quality food. Teath your self with good curry with tiger beers
