A great venue to go after a play on the swings with little ones. The staff are so welcoming and the hot chocolate is absolutely delicious !

Great time last night at Sushi at Skylark. The sushi and cocktails were delicious, and a lovely manicure too!

Fantastic friendly place to warm up on the common and great food too. We often take the children here for lunch or tea at the weekend and they even do wholesome mashed veg for the really little ones.

Think the new owners have tansformed this place & love everhting about it. The menu is much better & we actually look forward to going there on the weekend, after all our children's activities. it's the perfect place to have a lazy lunch whilst the kids are well catered for & can also play on the common nearby (age appropriate of course!)

Just been to Skylark for lunch with the children - fantastic food all round. Amazing mini 'proper' sausages for the kids and delicious salads and burgers for the adults. Everyone very happy - even Daddy had an ice lolly! Couldn't recommend it more highly for a family lunch or just the two of us...I wish!! Congratulations all round.

On Wednesday night we went to the Skylark Café on Wandsworth Common. The café is best known as a day time social hub of the park, but we were there for their special Festive Supper. The café started serving dinner a couple of nights a month earlier this year and it is something they plan to carry on next year.

We went for one of their monthly supper clubs and the food was absolutely delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised at the inventiveness of the dishes and the skill with which they'd been executed. At £42 per person it was a bargain for the four courses and petit fours that we had.

Taken over by a local couple a few months back, the Cafe has been given a complete family-friendly makeover. On a friend's recommendation, we went there for a family lunch, with young grandchildren, and were made very welcome. The food was delicious, freshly cooked and there was ample choice for the youngsters. Can especially recommend the shepherd's pie, and the halloumi burger. Service was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back!

We use this cafe quite regularly as a stopping point on a walk. I am delighted they have dairy free alternatives for drinks and they make an excellent hot chocolate. We also sometimes stop for lunch, last time having bacon butties and a gluten free bacon buttie and all were excellent and well enjoyed. They are reasonably priced for the area and the food is good quality. Always really pleased they have gluten free options listed on the menu too which makes ordering such a breeze.

Stunning find, perfect for the park - food is really well prepared and presented, service is good as well. It can get busy but there’s plenty of room inside and out. Coffee is really good - childrens meal portion is big! Really enjoyed it here and will definitely be back!

The Skylark hosted my surprise 30th birthday party last weekend. Everything was absolutely perfect: an incredible setting, great food and super friendly and attentive staff helped make the evening really special. Thank you to Emil & team!

Great cafe on the common. They don’t rely on the fact that they are based in a unique spot on Wandsworth common. They serve great coffee and food. Perfect for families with kids as it’s right next to a safe open space. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

A very popular meeting ground for local mother and toddler and generally for folks that visiting the commons. A welcoming place for all dog lovers; dog biscuits and dog bowls are provided for all visiting canine. Lunch and tea time can be very busy and noisy with kids and mothers. Can be very entertaining for onlooker with lots of drama and kid activities about the cafe. A thumb up for local visitors.

Great cafe on the park. Ideal for families with young children. (Most ppl that I have seen here for that category). Not ideal for quiet, reading or studying which is fine. Just good to know in advance. Coffee was good and food looks good too. There is also an outdoor space that looks great for summer. One area for improvement: with the high volume of people through the door and lots of young kids around the benches and tables sometimes get a bit dirty.

Very pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and efficient. The café is very pretty with lots of windows to enjoy the view of the common. I ordered the grilled haloumi with avocado etc on sourdough with an added poached egg. It seemed quite pricy for what it was (£11 or so in total) but it was worth it. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the beetroot chutney and seed crisp were delicious. The picture doesn't do it justice. I'll definitely go back.

Nice environment that is kid friendly and sits within a park. Walk by sit down - The food here is good. Service in general could be better, but it's not bad. Event at venue - events organiser is friendly and accommodating. Service during event was good. Eats were good but not as good as sit down meals.

Staff are friendly, baby supportive and dog welcoming. The food on the menu are a good size portion and presented well. Toilets are well maintained and all are welcomed to use. I noticed they support students with additional needs on work experience. Over all Fantastic service.

Situated on Wandsworth Common. Cozy in winter, nice in summer too. Very child friendly with a small area with some toys for the children. Lovely!

The recent refurbishment is really nice, the interior seems a lot brighter and more spacious. The service seemed a bit slow and chaotic but they were quite busy on a bright sunny day. Lots of seats outside overlooking the Common which is beautiful. I’d rather drink my coffee out of a mug rather than a jar though, given the choice. Toilet was out of order which is a bit disappointing.

Really nice café to pop into and grab a coffee, whilst you walk your doggy. Friendly staff at the till and making drinks...the only downside is seeing a female member of staff in there, who I saw previously the day before shouting and swearing at a poor man looking out the window in front of her on the bus. She then got off the bus and proceeded to stick up her middle finger and make foul gestures at the man, who was quite shaken after she left. Very odd and intimidating behaviour. So I was very surprised to see the same lady working in this lovely place the following morning! Hopefully she doesn't behave the same whilst at work!
