I always enjoy my visits here as they have my favorite Nigerian dishes well made. Although, they could do better in making it more kid-friendly in terms of the loud music always being played.

I recently visited Enish and it was an great experience. The portions were generous and the flavours were out of this world! The fast and friendly service was a plus, and the ambience was great. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a taste of authentic Nigerian cuisine. 5 stars!

Enish Restaurant is a fantastic 4-star Nigerian restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. The ambiance is inviting and the staff is attentive and friendly. The menu features a wide range of authentic Nigerian dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and flavorful spices.
The restaurant is known for its mouthwatering jollof rice, which is perfectly cooked and infused with rich flavors. Their suya, a traditional Nigerian grilled meat dish, is also a must-try, as it is tender, well-seasoned, and accompanied by a delicious peanut-based sauce.
Enish Restaurant pays attention to presentation, with beautifully plated dishes that add to the overall dining experience. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave satisfied. Additionally, they offer vegetarian and vegan options, catering to various dietary preferences.
One aspect that stands out at Enish Restaurant is their warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to provide recommendations or answer any questions you may have. The service is efficient, making sure that you're well taken care of throughout your meal.

I strongly recommend. The customer service was top notch, they were greatly empathetic after I called to inform them I forgot my phone at their place. I later found the phone under the car seat. As for food, I'll be there again. This time with my friends.

The food is divine ! The ambiance is really nice but I would say that the music playing was loud. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We waited quite a long time for the food. The portion was big and definitely worth the price.

Visited the newly opened Enish restaurant near Oxford Street with work colleagues and a good friend. Food was great and the portions were very filling! Small hiccup with the service - the lady who looked after us got a few of the items that we ordered wrong which caused quite a bit of delay lasting 40+ mins. Two items we ordered which were not available still made it to the final bill (not sure how that happened). The manager (Dr. Joe), was fantastic. He came in to sort out the issues and gave us a small "gift" at the end - thank you bro.
Will recommend a visit. I'm sure steps will be taken to address the concerns raised. Thank you guys!

Went for my mom's birthday last week Saturday and the first person that attended to me was Rukky. She got us a table without wasting time. She attended to us pleasantly even with all the food we ordered. She was very patient and kind. The food was also nice especially the fresh fish

I've given this place a 4 star cause it's located on a busy high street road with parking restrictions before certain times. If you arrive after the restrictions you will find side street parking and be less frustrated.
The dishes we ordered were delicious. I couldn't fault any of it. The ambience was ok for a Nigerian restaurant. If you ever want to visit and you drink alcohol, you should request for the cocktail called 'shakabula'. It's exquisite and packs a punch.
They have a grand piano upstairs. You can serenade yourself and friends to some nice tunes or show off your keyboard skills

Their food is generous size but you well pay for it🥴😆😁if you have never been to this restaurant, you would think twice cause it looks bad from outside.😅Once you enter, you see it is a big restaurant and they even have a garden space. They serve food they also offer shisha. The food is absolutely amazing. It tastes so good😍👍I tried their main food with my friend, goat meat jalof rice plantain, beef meet jalof rice plantain (main course) and 2 Palm vine,(first time I tried it😀it is a big bottle you can have it two people, it tasted good) I paid £48😁🥴which is not cheap.🔥🙊📢 They also charge £1 for a takeaway box🤯

The food was delish! Went with friends and no regrets...portion sizes were huge for the prices. Best value for money! Though small in size in terms of capacity.
Noise levels are high, if you are looking for a quiet restaurant may not be your cup of tea!
Customer service was ok, waiter was ok, outside seating area available.
Great location (10mins walk from the train station), several buses ply the route.
I would definitely visit again and again 👌😋

One of the best Nigerian food enjoyed, its home away from home food very well cooked, presentation on the table wow makes you feel pretty proud to eat in such a environment. The staff very customer service oriented. Good vibes too all around.

My first time with friends and family of 18 people. Unfortunately service was bad, took hours to service us, only one person called Bayo was allocated to served us. He was really nice, industrious and friendly. It would had been better if Bayo had 4 more people with him. Anyway, nice staff on duty including the manager. We will visit again to check if the service has improved. Please employ more staff, most especially on an event day and weekend. Up Enish

First time of visiting. Parking is limited at the restaurant and as would be expected on a high street, you can't park on the road. There are council car parks available nearby. The restaurant was very busy so orders take quite a bit. Probably better to visit during off peak periods. We were waited on by Mabs who has a very cheerful personality. Starters were very good (Pepper soup, Asun, Gizdodo etc). The main dishes also turned out very appealing. Good presentations and sizeable portions. All in all, it was a good outing. We are still in the Covid period so would have expected a lot more safety measures to be taken but these were lacking.

Pepper soup tasted amazing !! I've eaten lots all over London but I think you topped it for me!
My only critique is that the place when busy has no structure , people are all over the place including staff nobody seems to know what they are doing! Otherwise great place for food & drinks

Dined there with friends and felt that it was too expensive for what it is. Paying £20+ for a nigerian buffet of jollof and fried rice with chicken and fish as well as pounded yam and spinach is a bit much. How much of that food can one eat in one seating? My 3 kids had to pay too though they hardly ate anything. The set meals looked appetising though from across the room. If I give this place a second chance, it will be for those without a doubt

Enish is a must! The food is on point (and very authentic to boot). The setting is modern and well maintained. The perfect combination

Have visited this restaurant several times. Disappointed with the service, waited for an hour for the main course after starters. I ordered grilled fish; received fried fish. They tried to convince me the fish was grilled despite l informing them l have ordered the same fish several times in the past. The experience was not worthy. Didn't eat the fish & they thought they were doing me a favour removing the fish from the bill. Seriously, who pays for food not consumed.

A great place to dine as a family. The food is very Nigerian and staff very courteous and customer-focused . Its very satisfying and highly recommended. It was a personal touch for me. Little wonder why it's UK's number one Nigerian restaurant. It's a 7 Star from me.⛦⛦⛦⛦⛦⛦⛦

Good food but service can be so much better to help reflect the awesome African food they provide!

The restaurant is very neat, food is good value for money, but you have to wait up to 30 minutes before your food will be ready. Management needs to improve on waiting time for your meal to be ready
Tina Oni-Okpaku
Food taste is a definite five star, the ambiance and staff is not perfect but good. Will go back every time I'm in London.

I like the settings in regards to the food its good could be better at busy periods you may have to wait more than 40mins so if you want to give a time staff please keep to it ..Organisation is poor especially when its busy so i think you need to sort that out . I ordered ewedu and got okara with my amala .... i was horrified when i reached home not a happy bunny

We went there for the first time on Sunday and to be honest the food is one of my favourites I have ever had! The service is great too. We will defo go back again soon!

It's a well known fact that if you go to a Nigerian restaurant you're not going for the service but the food! Now that being said, I was really disappointed with the service we received yesterday. Our starters took over 45mins to arrive and when it did, they also served our mains too!!! We had to send our mains back (big mistake) which then took a further 1 hour for them to bring our mains in the end neither of us could eat our mains because it took so long for them to bring it back to us that we had all drank ourselves full! That being said the food was nice and if I do go back (probably will) we'll just make sure we only order mains...

Nice jollof rice but drinks were far too expensive

Enish is based in the heart of Lewisham and we are so happy that we stumbled upon it 2 years ago. Enish is one of the BEST restaurants around. My best friends and I always come here to socialise and dine in style. The staff are very friendly and professional and they go out of their way to accommodate us whenever we are there. The food is amazing! We always get the chicken wings as a starter and then follow on with a main meal afterwards. We all have different pallates and preferences, but we all agree that the non alcoholic Chapman is our favourite beverage! The atmosphere is calm and vibrant, we love the background music and often find ourselves singing and dancing along.

I'm never going back to this restaurant ever again. The first time we went there we waited for AN HOUR and 30 MINUTES for our food to be served. In all fairness, the food was tasty and the servings are big for the price you pay. We thought maybe it was because it was a Saturday night and there was a party in the second floor which may have caused them to be short staffed thus delaying the serving of our food. We visited again just recently and oh boy! We waited for almost TWO HOURS for the food to be served. That's totally ridiculous! I mean even if the food is great, if the service is poor then it will leave the customers unsatisfied. This is my first time to write a review for a restaurant. I just simply couldn't contain my emotions stemming from hunger. Lol.

It is an awesome place. Atmosphere, food. Customer services and price. I see comments about them bring stingy. I think you are just hating and can not support fellow nigerian. I see alot of thought has been put in in this establishment. I am proud to be from the same origin as enish. More grease to your elbow guys. Well done and God bless.

I was driving through Lewisham to get to Catford for a meal and I pass by this place called Enish Nigerian restaurant and Grill. I am a bit sceptical to try a new place but I assume you can't go wrong with a Nigerian restaurant that has the décor of Central London restaurant. I am so glad I took the chance because the food tasted awesome. The presentation of the dish was mind blowing. I should have taken a picture of the food but I was too eager to taste the food. I got some of the restaurant pictures from the owner.

Woah..what a decor! It was a party of 30 and we tried all the food and we couldn't fault anything even the service was superb. The Efo-riro is so good that I eat it almost everyday...lol. Good customer service, and reasonable price for a high end Restaurant, I can't ask for more
Shayla Thomas
Overpriced for stingy portions. Poor customer service and there is better food elsewhere in New Cross, on Walworth Road, on Hither Green Lane, even in Catford - avoid this place!

After a long day partying with close friends, we decided to join other colleagues at Enish restaurant for a late night African food dinner, trust me I was inquisitive on why Enish restaurant is our choice cos I haven’t been there before. On our arrival I was impressed with the very inviting restaurant setting and atmosphere with cool afro beat music flowing underneath, I was very eager to enjoy myself.

I was welcomed by their friendly waiters who immediately took my orders and without wasting any of my time my chilled palm wine drink (Emu ogidi) with chicken suya (diced chicken with a mixture of hot spices, garnished off with tomatoes and onions) was ready for me to munch through. I bet! you don’t know how glad I was while devouring the diced chicken with a chilled drink, fair enough they ain’t expensive tho.

Tonight’s dinner was amazing with some close friends at Enish restaurant, enjoyed the food, the bubbling atmosphere and kudos to their customer service, a very decent restaurant, would definitely come back again.

I love Enish I can't have enough of their jollof rice with chicken. Best customer service I've seen in any Nigerian Restaurant.
Shayla Thomas
Although some of the food tastes good, the portions are very stingy and it is overpriced for what you get. I've tried over and over with this place but am let down nearly every time I have bought here. There are several much better Nigerian food restaurants less than 10 minutes drive from here so I would not waste my time here.
