Waffle Genie

Perhaps one of the last places you’d expect to find a proper, Mission Style burrito! Mexican rice and fresh pico de gallo highlight this nicely seasoned, well constructed burrito. I opted for a large size beef burrito with pinto beans, aforementioned rice and pico de gallo, a nice spicy hot sauce, and added guacamole for £10.29. Based on a single visit, this is a burrito that could hold its own against most burrito parlours in San Francisco or Los Angeles. My only wish list would have been some fresh correander, and (in my dreams), a freshly made tortilla.

A pleasant surprise. Store was really quiet when we arrived at just after 1900. Ordered two Oreo milk shakes with cream on top and came to about £8.50, which isn't too bad compared to other chains. The milkshake was absolutely delicious!!!! Super thick and extremely tasty!!! We couldn't believe how nice it was 🤣 Definitely worth a visit if in the area. Only let down is the toilets, ladies wasn't working so had to use the men's, which do not look fantastic, but least it works hey! Staff was friendly enough greeted, shakes made promptly and they said bye when we left. Store was clean also.

Excellent place for waffles,milkshakes. They have good deals going on.The waffle was nice crisp and fluffy, the white chocolate sauce was nice and sweet and ice cream was awesome. I would love to give 5 stars for the milkshake I had. It has a lot of great desserts. Good customer service and nice cozy place. You'll love this place. Highly recommend everyone to place a visit.

One of my favourite cafes for many years now as I love the ambience (esp colour purple! ). Also because they offer so many large tables, 2 of which have access to power sockets so important for mobile devices. Reasonable price for tea and very friendly staff. So glad they are now re-opened for some sit-in customers.
