We came here for a friend’s birthday and thought it was a cool venue. It was spoiled however by the bar staff who were so incredibly rude and acted like they were doing us a favour by serving us drinks- bear in mind there were absolute no other customers at this point. It was a very weird vibe. My friend and I also went to the loo together and were told if we did it again the barman was going to kick us out. There weren’t any signs up saying it wasn’t allowed and we hadn’t been caught doing anything illegal and yet that was his immediate response to two girls going to the loo together. Really really weird and we won’t be back!

I love this place and all the incredible stuffed animals around the place. Especially the polar bear. I think they start talking around 3am. And disappear unless you believe in them. Love the scotch egg - or did till they stopped serving it two years ago to focus on booze and monster tunes. It was a wise move. And it's a great place despite the queue for the loo.

Dive bar with expensive drinks but music is always great and there’s always room to dance. Really late license means you’ll usually leave before the lights come up too which is absolutely ideal. Perfect stopping off point for ‘one more drink’ after a night in Shoreditch.

Love this place! Best Tapas in London! (that I've had anyway). It's a highly entertaining speakeasy hidden behind a telephone booth. Really friendly staff, lovely cocktails and it goes on till 5am...

Would have been 5 stars because I had a nice evening after work inside the event. But was unfortunately ruined when I came outside to see one man being attacked by 12 men who had robbed his watch. Meanwhile the bouncer and his friends stood and laughed. A real shame that I liked the bar atmosphere, but will definitely never return here after witnessing that. I was forced to intervene and try and protect the act from happening myself which was certainly not within my power or size. I'm truly disgusted and ashamed that people can behave like this. It's saddening.

Little Dive bar / Gem alert! :D small, sort of dingy and dirty looking, La Cabina, though meant to be a tapas bar, has Spanish written almost nowhere! Instead, a basement location with British flags splashed on the walls, to which you get by a very narrow staircase with only a few tables, welcomes you with the best service in London! They're hyper active, happy and joking / dancing constantly. For the logistics: they take table reservations and save your table for 15 min only, so be on time. Also, recommended to be there sort of early (7pm or so) before it gets too crowded, hot and sweaty. This bar is open until 5 AM so if you want to get here late, it's possible. Happy Hour is from Mon - Thu only. They do serve Spanish food and it is very, very good! The menu included chorizo in wine (my personal favourite), Portobello mushrooms, pork belly, meat platter and cheese platter amongst others. I did come here for the cocktails and I was not disappointed: they're very well made and very alcoholic. The selection in the menu is short (about 15 choices only) but you can ask for any other that is not in the menu and they will happily make it for you. The reason why I do not award 5 stars is because when they get very busy, they do not add personnel so it's impossible for the only one guy tending tables to keep up. Service becomes slower and slower until it's impossible to get served. If I owned this bar I would add some extra help in the peak hours...

This place is a classic. Underground. Funky. Dodgy in the best way. Go for a cap to the evening (open to 5am or so) however expect nothing fancy but drinks and soul house music. Good times.
