Beautiful, ecclectic, stylish place - the staff are very welcoming and the coffee is delicious. Definitely recommend it and will come back!
Super little retro café bistro .. great for breakfast & late lunches.. a really decent Cuppa..
This has to be the best independent cafe on the Planet
I go every day and I love the great coffee delicious flatbread toasties. Plus buy some unusual object d'art for you home
Love love love but I am biased I guess.
First time visit here and I have to say the food is delicious, staff are friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere:)
Great vibe and the real London to show an American what we are really about
This shop is full of inspiration and having a coffee bar enhances the great vibe. Just love it!
Dobry jajce, dobry kafe, na hajzlu chybela stetka. Jinak bombicka :)
Great coffee, great service, I am going to come back!
The food/drinks were tasty and Audrey and the gals took excellent care of us!
Fun place to be, loved the gifts there too.
Perfect place for a Coffee and to take a rest.. :)

Had a great need of caffeine, and decided to pop into the nearby Pitfield Cafe.
PItfield makes you feel as though you're stepping into a little garden, awash with pea green and light flowery colours. The atmosphere is very feminine and filled with light, making you feel instantly at home in a place of warmth and comfort.
The latte was lovely. Nothing outstanding, unlike the lovely decor, but it did the trick. I feel like the atmosphere is more likely to bring me back than the coffee itself!
How can you go wrong g with a lifestyles shop, café and exhibition gallery all rolled up into one? If you're in the area this is one of the best places to grab some breakfast, lunch or coffee.
I reccomend one of the flatbreads. Go early to grab them when they're fresh. The also have some gorgeous looking salads which I itend to try on my next visit. Want something a bit heavier they also do freshly made pizzas
They have an array of exquisite pastries and desert so far my favourite are the macaroons. The only thing I was disappointed in was the tea. It was no better than your average super market tea but significantly more expensive.
I wasn't particularly impressed with the staff either. I like to take my time to decide but they seemed keen to get things over and done with. Overall this is a nice venue and while it's far from perfect it's still pretty damn good. Did I mention they have an arcade machine, star wars :)
Cute, quirky place. Can get loud at busy times. Good coffee, but expensive (£3 for a latte) and it is rather small. But look at the pretty cup it came in!
I live in the US and had been searching for one of these porceleain barrels for a very long time. Found it randomly online at Pitfields, even with international shipping, it was very reasonably priced. Paul wrapped , packed and shipped this item along with a beautiful vase, also reasonably priced as well. My items were received in excellent condition and I love them. Thank you Pitfields!
Cute and unusual place. The food is amazing 😋
Great food and lovely atmosphere. They played some funky music that seemed perfect for that time of the morning. The food was excellent. Highly recommended.
I must join some of the other reviewers when mentioning the poor mood amongst the staff there. I was a little taken back when every member of staff I saw looked unhappy.
I stopped by for a coffee on Saturday. They have super cute plants for sale outside the shop which is what drew me inside. It was very quiet/empty at that time. Looked like they had some great sandwiches and small snack options. Nice atmosphere for a weekend spot that’s not overly crowded.
I love this place! I ducked in here during the heat wave to be pleasantly surprised that they have air conditioning (don’t sit directly under it if you get cold easily!). The coffee is delicious (albeit about 20p more expensive than other places) and you can get a MASSIVE plate of food (mixed sides like sweet potato, different salads, pasta, etc) for £5.75 (even cheaper for takeaway). Plus, the cafe itself is super cute.
One suggestion - put felt bottoms on the chairs! It’s quite noisy with everyone constantly pulling their chairs in and out. Sort of like nails on a chalkboard. :)
Just popped into Pitfield for my first visit .Lovely varied menu and good prices for Old Street area. Friendly welcoming staff. My Poached eggs with avocado and smoked salmon was delicious. Nice touch having tea served in cup with tea pot rather than mug..Nice chilled atmosphere with quirky interior..I will be back .
Great cozy interior that is truly unique with good coffee
I really enjoy the atmosphere and food. Unfortunately, We once had a quite bad experience with a very unprofessional waiter, spilling the drinks at our table, and taking all orders while talking at the phone with a friend of him.
Pop in here pretty often for the salad box for lunch. It's always really tasty and they usually have 6-7 options to choose from, quite a few of them vegan.
Great place to peruse - there is a coffee shop and an interior design space selling everything from household knick knacks to greeting cards and similar. Full to the brim with eye catching pieces and well worth a look, a bit on the pricey side but could just be a London thing? Go and check it out if in the area.
This is a really random little find! Had a really yummy salad box here yesterday for lunch, all pretty no frills, but funky mismatched hipstery vibe, with a female sex shop out the back (Sh).. as I said, random.. but worth a visit.
