Amazing food! The food is quite expensive but it definitely worth it! I’ve never seen such creative dishes in a Japanese restaurant. The taste, the presentation are perfect.
They have Japanese craft beers and a wide range of whiskey/sake.
I still do not understand why this place is so empty!

Had an incredible time at Sakura Izakaya. It is an intimate restaurant, which is perfect for celebrations and date nights. The food is delicious and is innovative. The staff are professional, friendly and clearly know their menu inside out as they are really useful at recommendations. As well as being aesthetically stunning, the food, drink, service and atmosphere is second to none. I will definitely be back!

I visited Sakura on a Friday evening, the ambience was very relaxing and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the spider roll, chicken karaage, flying shokun and a tuna poke. The chicken and fish were very tender, the sushi was very well made and was a generous portion. My favourite was the tuna poke, which was the best I've tried. I will definitely be returning.

Nice concept (Japanese small plates), vibe and drinks selection but the dragon roll was overweight, a little messy and the rice wet. Prices aren't too keen either: £18 far too much for a modestly sized and unexciting unagi don. That said the squid kushi was lovely. I want to like this place more but the food didn't justify the bill and left me a bit disappointed.
