Simply the best Malaysian restaurant serving authentic Malaysian cuisine in London. This is the most favorite eating spot for me and my wife, and the food served to us are exceptional, and great portion. The staff and the owner are very warm and welcoming. Can't never have enough and we will always bought extra to bring back home too.
Where can I start???
Delicious halal food and the servers were all so friendly. We were tended to by Mr Joe. He was v kind and supplied everything we asked for like takeout boxes and cling film BC we definitely over ordered haha.
The chef himself (Mr Shazwan) even came out and assisted my husband into choosing something that he would enjoy and made changes to suit his palate.
Loved it here and the food all tasted so good. It was our first time trying Malay food and I'd 100% recommend to anyone and everyone!
Me and my friend was kindly served by Johan , he took care of us and checked up on us until we left, customer service was respectful and very nice. The food was cooked delicious by Arjun and it’s my first time trying Malaysian food.
I’ll definitely be coming regularly.
Lovely source of Malaysian food in this part of town. Great for a fresh teh tarik after shopping, and sambal to take home. We had nasi lemak and kway teow goreng. Quick, lovely service.
One of the best Nasi Goreng I have tasted. The front Staff (Adam) was really nice. He showed me to my seat and gave me a ETA on my food as I was in a hurry. Food was absolutely incredible and a really good portion too, unlike some of these other places that charge an arm and a leg. At the end chef Arjun came around making sure I am good. All in all an amazing lunch.
Great food, good service, sneaky service charge
Please be aware that a 12.5% service charge were expected even though we are ordering at the counter. That wasn't made very clear before you order.
Anyhow service was okay, food were fab and the seats were quite nice! Staffs seems to be friendly and you can see the chef going out to serve you food as well. Overall still 5 stars.
Cafe Rasa Malaysia served authentic Malaysian cuisine. I've tried almost every dish in the menu. The food and the ambience feels like in Malaysia! Sedap sangat! All sedap! Assam Laksa, roti canai, Mee Curry, the tarik, gosh name it!! Highly recommended! The price is reasonable!
Had their kuey tiaow goreng and nasi lemak with chicken rendang. It was good and flavourful! Was served by Johan, he was very kind and made sure everything is perfect. The chef itself, Shazwan cooked everything to perfection. Really recommend this place.
Not too bad food, quite tasty, portion was ok (not too small), everyone who works there are nice. Johan has borrowed me his powerbank. Very kind of him. Lady who works at the Till always smiling and greets customers nicely, love the ambient. I ordered lamb curry with steamed/coconut rice, tea tarik & mamak fried noodle (take away).
I remember getting chicken and lamb skewers (very small portions) with my friends, and some sort of soup (very large portion).
The food was super delicious! I wish the portions for the skewers a little more bigger though. The sauce for the chicken skewers was super great, I loved the texture of both.
My friend wanted to take her soup home as she couldn't finish it properly, and the workers kindly gave us a bowl and its lid! However, when I asked for assistance for pouring the soup, we didn't receive any help as the workers weren't allowed to assist us. Thankfully, my other friend handled it really well.
Overall, the staff were really friendly though, and the food was superb! The seating area is a little cramped though.
probably the best food i’ve had inside westfield. overall an authentic piece of malaysia straight to east london. the best satay chicken i’ve ever tried. really helpful staff and nice atmosphere and decor. food spice is good for casual or expert. food was served piping hot and tasted amazing.
Located in Westfield Stratford, this hidden Malaysian gem was a pleasure to come across in the ocean of disparity.
Our Front Staff, Ashman is a kind soul and accompanied us with grace. Pyan, one of the chefs, personally served our food. Compliments to the chef.
Special shout out to Adam. He welcomed us with open arms and took care of any questions we have and serviced us delightfully.
I had the Nasi Goreng Ayam. The ayam goreng was so piping fresh from the fryer that you could hear the skin still crisping up.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for all Malaysians and any curious local to expand their taste buds.
Flavorful authentic Malaysian cuisine! Lady boss Nor were very friendly and chatty.
Highly recommended their nasi lemak beef rendang and nasi ayam rasa special - flavourful and simply delicious!
We also had sizzling yee mee and fried kuaw teow but it was just ok, not so wow.
We were so full, didn't manage to try their dessert..next round for sure, we'll be back!
This food tastes like pure Malaysian… You must try all the food here! Thanks to Danish because of the good service and Arjun for the delicious and beautiful foods
The food tastes great, the service is always speedy and friendly. The portion is generous, and the menu option is abundant and varied. Most importantly, it's all halal. Thanks Chef Arjun and front staff Darwish.
Highly recommended! 😃

I had the Chicken Rice and my Greek friend who loves Malaysian dishes had the Prawn Fried rice. Both were extremely delicious and served in a generous portion. Another plus point was the Iced Tea Tarik tastes amazing. A real must try since it has interesting mixture and not too sweet. Enjoyed the atmosphere and deeply pleased with the good hospitality by Chef Pyan and the front staff Johan who exuded the warmth of Malaysian hospitality. A value for money and must try food experience in Westfield Stratford
I have no bad comment except for compliment to their food and services. Thank you to Chef Daniel for cooking me delicious Curry Mee and young guy, Darwish who served my food.
Went in Cafe Rasa Malaysia first time until I have looked the sort-of stool menu as I have looked the foods.
The staff appear and asking if I would like to have a seat. So, I went and have looked the menu but it was difficult to choose the food and overlook to other table that two ladies eating their bowl sort-of noodles, soup, single slice of boiling egg, etc.
I ask him which the menu exactly same as ladies eating their menu.
He pointed on the menu "Mee Kari Ipoh (Curry Laksa)" then I went to the stall and asked the lady what I want to eat but I choose is chicken and choice of spicy, medium or not spicy as I want spicy.
Until the staff serve me a bowl of Mee Kari Ipoh chicken and I eat it as the taste is perfect no problem issue but just cough that she gave me a glass of water which I did not expected of this.
Until done left the restaurant and feel full up and happy.
Will come back again one day to have another same menu.
Tidy, responsible Malaysia staffs.
Excellent, 10/10.
My husband loves traditional food he saw this place; he's been wanting to try their food. We finally made time, and it was worth the wait. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We we're served by musa and ashman. I recommend Cafe Rasa Malaysia to everyone.
