Nice Cafe to pop in for drink and snack, good atmosphere and service is hands on.

This shop is adored by local children and affectionately known as the cake shop and its easy to see why. The pastries, cakes and chocolate are so eye catching. They've also packed in so many favorites in amazingly quite a small space, ice cream, gourmet chocolate balls, a huge selection of pastries, pick and mix sweets and enough table and chairs I would say for 16 to 20 people.
I spontaneously ordered a sausage roll the other day as I was hungry. I'm not really a sausage roll eater but I came back a second time for another sausage roll within the same week. When I last came in it was with children to get them cakes and sweets the food looked amazing and the staff dealt very well with the influx of children.
I know there are competitors that belong to chains locally and I would say come here and not the chain. The pastry here is so good, so light and fluffy. All of the products look amazing. On the whole staff are very nice too.

Relaxing tea with delicious pastry reading a book and watching the world go by. Owner is very accommodating. Please support these local businesses. They really deserve it. Visited again today and enjoyed a homemade crumble alongside an iced coffee - delicious!

Beautiful little find, out of several places on this little corner this one had decent size cups for coffee the others was all tiny (like flat white size).
Everything in here looks delicious from the pastries to the cookies the doughnuts to the hand painted chocolates !
The two ladies in here were lovely very Friendly and made you feel so welcome will definitely be returning for a breakfast and some more chocolates 😋

I really like tha coffee, it was perfectly crafted and it tasted we exceptionally good. The pastries were also really well made and tasty. The lady at the counter was super nice and polite.

Great place . Friendly staff. Good long hours so great to pop in after work. Excellent pastries. Sausage rolls are delicious. Tried a mocha and was very nice. Ice cream looks very fancy and tasty.

I'd say this place is underrated - business tends to go to Gail's or the new coffee places around the corner as they are more flashy. Au Ciel has a great selection of pretty chocolates as well as the usual patisserie and coffee. I like it!

I visit many Coffee shops through the year and like most people I need my Coffee fix whilst working and this by far is the best I have been to, you will always be greeted by the friendliest staff and a welcoming smile from all and look forward to visiting soon. Thumbs up to Laura, Courtney and the Owner (never did catch her name) 5 Stars plus.
