Well done to the staff at this cafe who just gave the hard working emergency services cold drinks, tea and coffee on a hit day like this a very nice gesture
Really nice people that run the cafe and a lovely place
Very homely atmosphere. A haven from the outside bustle. Lovely armchair, mug of good tasting coffee and fresh homemade fruit salad.
Quality at very reasonable prices. Staff very welcoming.
I love Cornerstone Cafe! It's like walking into someone's sitting room for tea, with cozy seats and books everywhere! There's outside seating in front and the back patio surrounded by plants and a big parasol if it gets too hot. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are only 70p and the cafe volunteers are really friendly.
A haven from the bustle of the high street. Friendly community and cosy armchairs with great decor, so hard to pull myself away. And now they have another 'Open Mic' in June :)
Coming to Cornerstone is like coming home. It is such a sweet peaceful haven from the busyness of the Barking Road. Lovely staff, lovely cakes, lovely sandwiches, lovely tea. I could spend hours here chatting with the staff and other customers or curled up in the corner with a cup of tea and a book, watching the world go by through the big glass windows.
i love thai cromer... at cornerstone cafe! it's like talking to a female version of einstein with a cup of tea
I Just love it. Good coffee, great cake, home made soup this time of year is a speciality, so friendly, good value, I could go on........
I love the soup! And that the toast is cut into triangles!
a little oasis and so cheap!
Great neighbourhood cafe. Cozy and friendly hence difficult to tear yourself away! Cornerstone Community Coffee shop is a friendly space where people can just find someone to talk to and get excellent coffee and light meals at affordable prices, or free in some circumstances. It's run by volunteers from charity - East 13 Christian Trust.
A lovely small café with incredibly warm atmosphere and people. I enjoyed a tasty tuna sandwich with nice filter coffee and tried lentil crisps. By the way, the prices are way too low.
I love this place, the coffee is delicious and the service is great. I like to drink my coffee here as often as possible.
The friendliest quirky cafe. Come in meet people from the Plaistow area and fit right in. Great coffee tea and lunches. Love it, you will often find me in there when i have some time to spare.
Please look At This quaint little place
Been here for a long time
And still as cheap as chips
Enjoy a bacon roll in a relaxed atmosphere
Feel the energy of God around
Lovely little church run cafe hosting community events. Run entirely by volunteers so only open Wednesday to Friday. Nice ambience.
Great little café. Run by a local church and the people are really lovely. Great prices too! Only downside is that they are only open Wednesday to Friday.
Welcoming atmosphere and a nice local coffee shop
