Had takeaway from here a couple of times and always a pleasant experience. Mary is very friendly and warming and seems to remember her regular customer which is wonderful as that's what businesses are built on. The place seems to be busy which is a good sign. Cash only so make sure you have some change. A local gem. Most items are halal and non halal items are fried separately.

After over 2 decades born and raised in Edmonton I finally visited this place just last week after a afternoon trip back from Ponders End train station. Met the lovely lady over the counter (sadly forgot her name 🤦‍♂️) who had such a friendly aura around her. She was always smiling and had such positive energy. I asked for recommendations as this was my first visit and she recommended their chicken burger which is all hand made in shop. I ended up going for their haddock and chips as thought I'd try their signature food. Had a nice chat with her whilst waiting and she spoke about the history of this place and then asked if i want the chips extra crispy. She also asked what sauce I wanted and she gave some tartar sauce which I don't normally see in a chip shop came to just over or around £11 from what I remember. Food was great, fish was nice and flaky along with the batter. Chips were nice and crisp too with the amazing tartar sauce. Only thing I wish were I came home sooner before the steam softened up the food though that's me to blame. Hopefully will come again one day so my whole family try you guys 😄. "The best fish and chips I have ever had" - This are words of my 11 years old son :) we are turists from Poland and this is his first visit to UK. He loves fish and chips ( we have it in Poland too, but taste of course is different. :)) I am shock have super hiper friendly the lady was. She told us bit of history of the place, showed memory garden, and of course 😁 she has some Polish people in the family (wife's of brothers and brothers in law ;)) Poland, UK and Turkey seems to have much more connections than I ever suspected 🤣

The only chippy I know that do spare ribs had to travel 5miles but worth every penny. Absolutely wonderful tasty ribs. I would highly recommend this establishment. 5 star hygiene food rating on the door. Staff very friendly service with a smile. Also ordered quarter of chicken and small chips to try. Thank you Mary's keep up the good work and stick to your principles of excellent customer service to ensure a good customer journey.
