We’ve just moved to the area and stumbled across this cafe. An inviting authentic independent cafe with a distinctive Italian feel. Family run and full of character. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The pastries and cakes are to die for. We can’t wait to visit and become regulars :)

We are regular at Nightingale Patisserie - it’s our end-of-the-week treat! Everything especially almonds croissant and apricot danish are irresistible! Best ever even better than in Italy.
We asked Dario to make our wedding cake. He’s incredibly creative. We told him how much we love his plum frangipan and he made this marvellous cake with that as base.

Just popped in to grab a coffee but saw the chocolate and almond croissants. It was truly delicious. So tasty that I'd eaten 3 quarters of it before I thought about taking a picture and by then, it wouldn't have done it justice. The place itself looks lovely, the people serving were friendly and the choice of mouthwatering pastries and goodies was excellent.
So glad I don't live that close or I'd be here constantly, which would not bode well for my waistline.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches and sweet treats. We had a smoked salmon cream cheese bagel and a Parma ham baguette with blue cheese plus a small florentine, a vienese biscuit and some coffees. All perfect and really well priced. The highlight though was the service. All the ladies who served us were wonderful and really welcoming. They made a great fuss of our dog and she loved that. Will be back
