I’ll live around this area for 3 years now and very fussy about my coffee. And Red Lion deliver in price and quality in the area. I am a regular here, and the staff are great, friendly and quick. They even have a nice sunny side terrasse and a nice selection of home made sandwich.

Amazing place, nicely designed, silence and calm for working and reading while having a delicious coffee at a quite reasonable price. If you are in the Deptford/New Cross area, it’s one of the best!

Situated just off the main road but enough to be away from the hustle and bustle, Red Lion is a great go to place for some peaceful time.
I've been returning for the Dirty Chai Latte specifically with Oat Milk; the oat milk brings out the earthiness of the chai. Bites like their salted caramel brownie and pain au chocolate were good, not a wow but happy to spend compared to big chain cafes. My partner commented that their toasties served hot were better than the focaccia, in taste and texture.
Service was always good at Red Lion. Staff are friendly and their playlist is spot on for myself. Great environment to relax with the plants.

So I had an emergency stop here to use the EV charger in the same Rd. Cute little coffee place. Was surprised how busy they were. Likely because of the warm and friendly service as well as he coffee. Limited breakfast menu but not an issue. Also selling plants flowers.
