I recently visited this fantastic fish and chips joint, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I stepped inside, the aroma of freshly fried fish and perfectly crispy chips hit me, and I knew I was in for a treat. The fish was flaky, tender, and encased in a golden, crunchy batter that was nothing short of perfection. It practically melted in my mouth. The portion size was generous, making it a great value for your money.
As for the chips, they were a delightful sidekick to the fish. Thick-cut, piping hot, and seasoned just right, they provided a satisfying contrast to the delicate fish.
The ambiance was really cool, with friendly staff who were happy to make recommendations.
We had the cod bites and chips with tartar sauce and ketchup! Was truly delicious. Have had takeaways from here many times and never fail to Dissapoint. Good spot for fish and chips, dessert or brunch. They have loads of this on the menu. Something for everyone.
We had cod and scallops as starter. I would say - very tasty and classical fish and chips, fresh and tasty. Crew is very happy and polite. Climate inside - I would say it’s a bit like American breakfast place (Mel’s Drive) - I liked it.
Came here for their fish and chips, although their menu was pretty broad.
The food was good, was fresh made to the point that you could still hear the sizzling coming out of the chips when the food was served.
Generous with the tartar sauce in comparison to other places, this was a nice thing.
The size of the portions was good as well, and the staff were friendly and we had a good experience.

Fish and chips ( cod ) was tasty. 😋 Nice big piece of fish and chunky fries. However, it is a bit overpriced. For that money in Croatia, Greece or Spain u can have fresh fish of much higher quality and much better taste.
Pie was a disappointment. It was ok, but nothing more then that.
I really liked the style of the bar, the music, service was friendly, but the toilet was freezing! 🥶😁
We were looking for an English restaurant with fish and chips in the area and we were happy that Google directed us here. The meal was above and beyond expectations, excellent service. Delicious and fresh food and a very clean and tidy place. It is highly recommended to come here.
The inside is very American-dinner like.

I came a few times during my stay with a tourist group from Germany. They also enjoyed what they tried.
Can highly recommend if you are in Whitechapel - also, I enjoy their humour 😊
We had such amazing time in this place. The food was so yummy plus Halal fish and chips are rare find with beautiful seating space, The staff is great, so smiley and polite. Greet you at the door and look after you throughout. We were mainly served by Roman. He’s a gem. Will definitely go back for the food and most for the staff. It’s not every day in London you get such service!
Our last night in London we wanted to eat a good fish and chips dinner. We stumbled upon this place not far from our hotel. We are very happy we found it! I tried the haddock and chips while my wife had the cod and chips. Both were excellent! The fish was cooked perfectly with a light batter. I sprinkled some malt vinegar to add to the already good taste and it was even better. For dessert we split the toffee sticky pudding. I wish we would have ordered two because I wanted more of it. The ice cream mixed with the pudding and sauce was a great combination. The service was very good too. As soon as you walk in they ask how many in your party and they find a seat for you right away. Charlie was very helpful anytime we needed anything. We lucked out because it got busier after we sat down, but I didn’t notice anyone having to wait for a table. The food came out fast and was nice and hot. If I ever come to London again I will definitely eat here again. Best fish and chips in town!
Great restaurant!! Fresh off the train from Paris and went straight here after checking into the hotel. Fish is fresh but may run out. I got the cod and it was tasty. Chips were okay but I like shoestring fries more. Fun diner vibe. Charlie was witty and attentive. Check it out for a quick meal. Kubra was a joy
The restaurant had really friendly and easy going vibe, we enjoyed it very much. We got fish and chips, burger and calamari, all very tasty and for decent prices for London. The staff was friendly. Can only recommend!
Amazing vegetarian breakfast. They were super busy but did everything with a smile on their face. The interior design is also super fun
Great little gem with a beautiful and welcoming front, imaginative theme, very friendly staff, pleasant 60s background music, and most important of all, good food. I had a chicken and mushroom pie and chips late at night, and it was a much better alternative to the usual offerings in London late at night such as kebabs and burgers. And very well priced, too.
Food and service was 10/10. Drinks are also delicious. Our waiter Charlie was great! Knowledgeable and friendly. The manager was also friendly and accommodating.
Exactly what we were looking for for fish and chips. Great staff. Big portion. Perfectly sharable. Great menu and the 50’s music with the shiny decor gives it a great diner vibe. We would come back.

Service, what can I say.....10/10 across the board. They make the atmosphere fun and the restaurant is nicely decorated in English theme.
Food......three of us dined in and took the recommendation of Cod and Chips. 11/10!!
The fish was perfectly battered, perfectly cooked and so white and tasty. The chips were out of this world.
To finish it off, we tried the caramel sticky toffee pudding....to die for!

I'm not a connoisseur of London Chippies, but if I was, this would be up at the top. Fantastic food , served by great staff, who couldn't do enough for you. Well worth a visit if you're in the Brick Lane, Whitechapel area
