This place is a hidden gem. I was out in London today, was trying to decide which Italian restaurant to go to. I came across Nonna Selena. Two lovely ladies were working today. The first thing I noticed were the friendly warm welcoming smiles. I couldn't even decide what to eat but the kind lady at the reception desk helped me and her choice was exactly what I would eat for lunch. During these difficult times around the world, it's so heartwarming to meet two nice, hard working and friendly people like these two women. Bless you. Their food is made with love and from their kind hearts. So happy I stopped by 😀😃🙂

Nonna Selena is an absolute gem! From the moment you step through the door, you're transported to a cozy corner of Italy, complete with a warm atmosphere and authentic vibes that make you feel right at home. The first thing that struck me about Nonna Selena is the inviting ambiance. The dimmed lights, rustic decor, and soft Italian music in the background create an incredibly warm and intimate setting, perfect for a romantic dinner or a family gathering. It's a place where you can unwind and savor your meal without any rush. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food! Nonna Selena's menu is a gastronomic journey through Italy. I've had the pleasure of trying the bruschetta, and it's the perfect balance of crispy bread, fresh tomatoes, and the finest olive oil. The pizza had that mouthwatering crust that's so hard to find outside Italy. The pasta dishes were a revelation, with the lasagna tasting like a piece of Italy on a plate. The service at Nonna Selena is exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, ready to guide you through the menu and recommend the perfect wine pairing. They genuinely make you feel like an honored guest in their own home. Dining at Nonna Selena is an experience you won't forget. The food is divine, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the overall authenticity of the place is hard to come by. This restaurant is a true culinary gem, and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're a connoisseur of Italian cuisine or just looking for a wonderful night out, Nonna Selena is the place to be. Buon appetito!

Had a lovely time at Nonna Selena’s last week! Ordered their classic four-seasons pizza which was delicious. Cosy atmosphere in the restaurant and great service. To top it off - they offered a shot of limoncello on the house. Will be back soon!

Truly wonderful experince. Amazingly fresh food. I have lived in New York state for over twenty years and the absolute quailty of this gem of a resturant should not be underestimated. Everything was made to order and I mean hand made tortellini. The Pizza was artisnal and flavourful it was something. You will remeber this resturant for its quality if you dine here!

We ate on the adorable patio last night and enjoyed our food so much that we returned today for lunch! We had a pizza, spinach tortelloni in a cream sauce, garlic bread and two other pastas; everyone was pleased with their food. And our waiter (Ishmael?) recognized us from the night before and was very friendly. Highly recommend this cutie, little place!

we visited this place because it was the most convenient Italian restaurant to our hotel in Russel square. It took about 25 minutes to serve our food but given the place was packed that is very reasonable. The staff are wonderful and very attentive. They charge 10 percent service charge and we added 10 percent. In total we felt for this kind of service a twenty percent tip is very normal. My only comment on the pizza is that it is a little bit salty to my taste, I asked the table next to us about their pepperoni pizza and they felt it is a little salty as well. I highly recommend this place if you are in Russel square.

Quaint and affordable Italian restaurant with friendly staff. My daughter and I ate here while my wife and son were recovering at the hotel from a long day walking around London. The Al Tonno and Rucola/Prosciutto pizzas were very tasty, so was the Garlic Bread. We took our deserts and an extra pizza to go, the staff was very accommodating in this request. Just a reminder, the service charge is not the same as a tip, I made that mistake.

Picture this - Eating a delicious, traditional plate of spaghetti in a picturesque outdoor terrace, looking inside a bustling restaurant, the photos adorning the walls of the beautiful Italian actress Sophia Loren whilst a friendly waitress speaks Italian to a nearby table. I wasn’t expecting to stumble upon this treasure in the centre of London, but so glad I did! Bellissimo
