Absolutely delicious, the chicken is tender and full of flavor, the sides are generous and nutritious and the desserts are mouth watering. The staff are also lovely and very accommodating for families, highly recommended!
This place is too good. The chicken skin is crispy and the meat is juicy and tender. The salads are quality, as are the dips and the cheesy leeks slap. One of my new fave spots.
Three of us had lunch here at the weekend - two meat eaters, one vegetarian. We were all able to get the combo meals because there were delicious vegetarian options to swap out for the chicken. We shared 6 sides between us and a bottle of wine. We were all so full at the end but in the best way. Everything we ate tasted fresh and healthy. The carrot and fennel dish blew my mind and the halloumi was grilled to perfection. The portion sizes were very generous, but I couldn’t stop myself eating because it was all SO good. The chutney was unlike anything I’ve eaten before and I can’t stop thinking about it. I can’t wait to go back and have it all again. I’m desperate to try the other veggie options. We could only manage one dessert because we were so full -we had the cheesecake - and it was heavenly! Will be raving about this for a long time.

This is a fairly new eaterie (and takeaway) on the Blackstock Road which unfortunately is often empty! It shouldn't be: this page is great and we hope it lasts!
This time around we had the Date Night (1/2 chicken, three sides and three sauces) and a bottle of wine. It was all sublime (especially the leak and bacon side!). All cooked to perfection and the sauces a great accompaniment. At £43.95 it might be a little on the pricey side but personally I think it was worth it.
Staff are very friendly and attentive, toilet is clean and kids are very welcome (the kids' vegetables is exactly what it should be!). Oh, and if you don't eat chicken (bearing in mind this is a rotisserie chicken place) their veggie options are great, too.
So a plea from me: go, eat, have fun and let's hope this place stays!
This place is amazing! Our food was so delicious. The staff was so kind and helpful. The chips and Caesar salad were my daughter's personal favorite. I can't wait to visit this place again! The Roost had amazing food, amazing service and amazing decorations.
Really enjoyed dinner here and will be back.
Huge portion size of succulent rotisserie chicken, equally delicious and well paired sides. I only wish I had room to eat more at the restaurant, the aroma of my takeaway bag had peoples heads turning towards me on the bus 😂 Don’t bother with cocotte, support small business!
Amazing free range chicken at really reasonable prices with some of the yummiest homemade sauces I have had- try them all BBQ was a fave! My fave side is Viet salad, and can't wait to try the new pies and rotisserie potatoes! So glad this place is open, so healthy, affordable and delicious.
Cute new restaurant that has opened. Owner and staff were very nice. Food did not take long and I fully enjoyed it. 1/4chicken and 2sides was just the right amount for me. I'm fully full work definitely be coming back again to try a special
The Chicken roast was tasty and nicely cooked. The sauces are also very nice. However, the Aubergine was not great and not cooked fully.
So so good, the smacked cucumber special and the chicken was so tasty. The staff are really lovely too. Great experience, would 100% go back!
