I’ve been going here for years and trust me it’s one of the best places to get salt and pepper chilli king prawns 🍤.They are so juicy and tender, and the crunch from the crisp batter served with loads of chilli and fried onions it’s the perfect combination! I mean who can so no to that, plus the lovely customer service from Tom great guy!
Only downside is cash only though hasn’t changed in years lolz nearest ATM at the petrol pump charges otherwise go to the post office or Tesco cash points.
I have been eating here for 6+ years and it still never disappoints. Best Chinese in east london by far! Staff is very friendly and delivery's are fast! The smoke chicken has got to be the best one I have had my whole life!

Don't get me wrong it's not my go to only because of how shockingly slow the delivery is. Its not around the corner from me. Would suggest collection if you can. My usual is now under new management so use here. When you call up they tell you a time frame but expect twice as long. When you call to check rather than be honest they lie which is what annoys me. Rather be told the truth.

I have known these guys for more than 20 years. Always great food and good value. Crispy shredded Duck is a 'must' try... Tip: When ordering this ask for extra pancakes and extra onion & cucumber!

In brief, there are better Chinese takeaways, but you will probably have to travel some distance and pay more to find them.
The Great Wall is very close to us and because of that I cannot comment on their delivery service. The takeaway is normally quite busy, it is uncommon to be the only person in there, but despite this the food is usually prepared in less than 10 minutes. The kitchen is visible and there are half a dozen or so staff working away in it. The staff serving are friendly and, if they aren't too busy taking orders from other customers or over the phone, chat with the customers. In the 10 years of visiting it I think we have only once received an incorrect order.
The menu is quite large, but it did not take too many visits before we settled down on half a dozen or so dishes that we tend to order. My personal favourites being the crispy chilli beef, Singapore rice noodles, and Kung po garlic chicken in tomato sauce. I have a good appetite so often order the large portions but the servings are reasonably generous.

Food was amazing , chicken was very fresh and noodles was very good ! Food came in about 20-30 min delivery .Food was very hot ! Delivery driver was very polite , friendly ,and even provided with 1.5l bittle of coke free of charge ! Definitely worth everything !
Always great food. l have used them since 1999 and l have never been disappointed.
Unlike some take aways, their food is made just as you order and this obvious from the taste.

Best takeaway round our way, barbecue sauce is the best I’ve tasted, curry sauce is the only thing that lets them down, like mine quite dark and hot and it’s light without any omph.. part from that I think how busy it always is speaks for itself
Love their curry sauce and chips must have with chilli prawns !! Been going here for last 18 years can’t beat them keep it up!
