I had ordered food from Saka Maka, and last weekend decided to try dinein. It was a whole new experience. The same dish that I had ordered online tasted amazingat the restaurant. But I was blown away with the butter chicken and Pav Bhajji. There food is 10/10. Worth dinein. Go there for the food.
If you are craving for authentic Indian food then this is your destination. Saka Maka has wide variety of Indian food options (both veg and non veg) and absolutely authentic Indian taste( spices and flavours reminds you of India) and the restaurant is very hygienic. You can either dine in or opt for take away or even get it delivered. One more thing that I wanted to notify was the manager there is very humble and polite, though Europe countries don't have anything like hospitality but in Saka Maka you can surely experience the same.

This is by far the best Indian food in Southeast London and it's really inexpensive, especially when you consider for what you get. My partner eats meat, but I'm a vegan, and there were loads of things I could eat as well. And the staff are super nice!
Quite honestly the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Indian food has never been my first choice for dining out or a takeaway but the flavours here are just superb and i have been completely converted. Added to that, the service is absolutely fantastic!
Theese guys saw what i ordered previously and gave me one of the dall dish on the house after recognising i placed the order again. EXCELLENT FOOD AND AMAZING PEOPLE !

We ate in the restaurant on the basis of the excellent reviews this place is getting and we were not disappointed! Five stars well deserved. All the food was great but in particular the little bhajis and the naan bread was delicious. It's a humble little place - if you like big fancy restaurants with table cloths and umpteen wine glasses this might not be for you. But if you're into great food simply served then this place is fantastic. We were there early on a Monday evening so it was pretty quiet but that suited us. We will definitely be going back. Really nice service from the owner and the chef too by the way.

Since I moved in the area, I have ordered food from Saka Maka multiple times (~50 times) . The quality of food has been 10/10 every time and the taste has been consistent.
I would rate the food even better than the famous chains (e.g. Dishoom, Masala Zone).
When I visited the place and ate their in the restaurant, the service was very friendly and quick. Though the restaurant is medium sized but that shouldn't discourage anyone from visiting the place.

We’ve been ordering from Saka Maka since the last few months and were never disappointed. The owner, Nitin makes sure that every item ordered is of perfect quality and taste. Amazing food and great service always.
We ordered takeaway . The restaurant forgot to send us a kulcha and a naan. When we told them, they promptly rectified the mistake and also sent us some extras. It was hassle free.
The food tasted quite authentic and we shall order again.

For that authentic North Indian curry cuisine, with exquisite sides and desserts to match!...Rich and very full of flavour, bursting with aromatic spices and taste. This has now become my favourite regular local curry eatery!
The fauji lamb curry is to die for ! Chicken bukni kebab is amazing! Butter garlic naan is so soft. Overall food is so delicious. Perfect for Indians to fulfill their cravings far away from India. Thankyou for such a lovely dinner !! I have ordered for the first time and they sent over their bhuna dal dish complimentary which was a sweet gesture.

I ordered twice from Saka Maka in the space of a week and would highly highly recommend everyone to try it out if you are looking for tasty authentic Indian food with beautiful flavours- it has very good vegetarian options too.
Food wise: I ordered kadhi chawal for the first order which was so delicious it reminded me of homemade food- just what I was looking for away from home! The second time, I ordered the daal bukhara which was very flavoursome and filling with saag roti and the owner ( I'm sorry I didn't ask your name :( ) was very kind and generous to give me thepla to try too. I would highly recommend both the saag roti and thepla if you are looking for bread options that are lighter than naan but not at all lacking in flavour as they are seasoned fabulously. The saag roti has a lovely green colour which is different to the usual rotis served at other Indian restaurants and eaten at home! Would recommend the pomegranate raita for a sweet refreshing accompaniment to your meal. The portions are generous too and may last until the next day unless you are a foodie like me! The daal definitely is a big portion.
Service: The service was quick ( I ordered for collection) and food was ready in 10 minutes to collect. Everyone who I was greeted by was very friendly and attentive, showing interest and care by having a conversation with me too.

Fantastic place - so glad it is round the corner.
Ordering at the weekend and there was an issue with the print out of my take away order, which meant the order wasn't received properly. I rang 20 mins after expecting the food and we realised the issue. The food was then dropped off by the owner within 10 minutes! And with free Daal and Naan. Great service, much appreciated.
Love this place - outstanding food, great value. And this is the only issue I've ever had with delivery too.

The BEST Authentic Indian food in the area!! We are frequent visitors even with a 30 mins drive for us. Nitin is an amazing host and very attentive to all your food and dietary needs, with a aim to ensure you go home with a happy tummy :)
Imaginative menu with incredibly tasty food. Doesn’t matter too much what you order, you’re unlikely to be disappointed. Quality across the board. Great vegetarian choices. A regular takeaway option for me - not dined in yet so can’t comment on atmosphere.

Our recent order from Saka Maka Hither Green Indian Restaurant left us with mixed feelings. Most of the dishes were delicious and satisfying.
The highlights of our order included the pav bhaji, vada pav, dabeli, chicken biryani, and veg biryani.
