The best brunch I’ve had in my decade in London. Sooooo delicious! Perfect portion sizes, fresh ingredients, lovely unusual setting. My other half said it’s the best French toast he’s had his whole life! And the Turkish eggs. Man oh man I’m coming back for those!!

Came across the Allotment Kitchen when we went to Stepney City Farm last weekend. Their brunch was so good we walked via the canals from Shoreditch today to try some more dishes. The chefs really know what they’re doing here. Seriously impressive. Great produce and some awesome food. Fantastic friendly service in a lovely outside space. Even bought some cakes to enjoy later. Well worth a look.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food. The sourdough with burrata, pesto and cherry tomatoes was particularly good. You can take a trip around the farm after lunch to see the goats and other animals! The only thing I would note further is that it would be nice if they had a few more cheaper options, as most of the menu was over £10.

We love coming here on Saturdays for awesome breakfast. Food and drinks are always amazing. And then you're on the farm and see all the animals. It's awesome!

We had Sunday brunch here. The place is lovely and atmosphere was nice. We had French toast, English muffin with goat curds and poached eggs, lemon cake and pesto pasta for the kids. Food was delicious but I found the English muffin a bit dry and the French toast portion a bit small otherwise the food was really good and the flavours were good. Customer service was good and the staff were nice.

While "gem" is overused at best when describing restaurants, it is the most apt term in the truest sense of the word for the experience that is The Allotment Kitchen. The dishes are consistently inventive, fresh, sustainable, beautiful and brilliantly flavorful. It's astounding what you get for the price point in presentation, taste and portion. I bring friends and family here every chance I get because I want more people to enjoy what the staff at the Allotment Kitchen have to offer. And I really hope I can convince my company to do some corporate days at Stepney City Farm so I have an excuse to eat lunch here on a work day.

A real hidden gem. The Allotment Kitchen is a fantastic cafe set in the grounds of Stepney City Farm. They offer a variety of hot and cold food in addition to a selection of baked goods which are available at the till. Food and drinks are served at tables. The food is always exceptional and is reasonably priced considering the portion sizes and quality, both of which are great! The setting is truly unique. It very much feels like a little oasis in the heart of Stepney Green. Could not recommend this place enough - a must visit if you find yourself in the area!

The food is outrageously good at Allotment Kitchen. I love how creative the menu is but still so simple and wholesome, and that it changes often so you never get bored of it. I wish I could have lunch there every day.

We love this place! Had the best vegetarian lunch yesterday: Tarte de flette (?), a deconstructed creamy potato pie-like dish. The mushroom burger is amazing too. Make sure you visit the farm and independent market to enjoy the weather, animals and a feeling of communing with a different time in society.

Food is nice and creative but portion sizes way too big in the set menu so quite a bit of waste and we already stuffed ourselves til we’re uncomfortable which is a shame because then it just doesn’t feel good. The staff are great though and cute little place in the farm.
