It was my first time to Bao Yum and I must say it won't be my last. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the staff welcoming. As It was my first time,I was asking about the different items, the women was helpful and polite. I believe she said her name was Cindy. The food had a great flavour to it and I really enjoyed the overall experience. Next time I hope to bring my friends with me

A little snack and drink here after checking in at the hotel! We had all three different types of bao and they were all delicious. Drinks can be picked up in the cooler, along with some of their sandwiches. Place is card only, so no cash. We sat inside and enjoyed the food.

Reasonably tasty Japanese / Bao Bun fusion-style restaurant located in the Hilton in Westminster. Good choice of food options, friendly staff. Food is reasonably good - and well priced compared to other options in the area. Pleasant casual dining area. Recommended.

This (slightly hidden in the side streets of Mayfair) lovely place has been one of my regular haults for a Sunday Brekkie (always got the Takeaway) their selection is pretty spectacular and a really high quality in my view. Staff is always very friendly, and on Sunday morning i never saw it too crowded, and even tables outside to enjoy those few rays of sunshine (when they decide to illuminate London....that is).

Was around the area when we saw this new place, so popped in to have a quick snack. We chose the Japanese pork belly for the open bao and the chicken honey ginger teriyaki and the kung pao shrimp baos. These were good portions and satisfied my snack craving. The taste of the baos were really good, yummy - the pork belly has a slight spicy-ness to it which I love; you can taste the honey and ginger in the chicken bao and the kung pao shrimp was equally delicious. I like the fact that there's a good ratio between the filling and the bao bun itself, this means I do get a good taste of the filling and not just the fluffy bun. For drinks we tried the healthy green juice which was very refreshing. Next time though I'd like to try the wine and cocktails in a can ;-). I will definitely come back again and try out the other baos they have; may do a take-away and grab a few wine or cocktails in a can and have a picnic in the park close by ;-)

The Nashville hot fried chicken open bao with iced coffee : a perfect spicy snack. I particularly love the hot sauce, it has a perfect tangy-ness to it and the right level of spiciness that is not overpowering. The gentleman behind the counter did say that I may have to wait 10 minutes as it is being freshly made but it definitely took less than that to arrive. As I was eating in there I would be perfectly okay if it were to be served on a little plate - it's just a shame to waste the beautiful box/container and plastic cutlery (I do prefer to devour a bao bun with my hands :)) and paper bag if one is not having it as take-away. Will have to come back and try the other baos :)

I went to this place with my friend on Friday and we both were so happy to enjoy the Asian flavour of Bao . I had a chicken teriyaki Bao and my friend had a shrimp Bao. There was a very balanced filling with the fantastic steamed dough, absolutely delicious worth for the price! The place was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Will be there in regular bases for sure!

Took my bao-mad daughter here for a fun Mommy/daughter dinner. The food was delicious and fun. Is it traditional? Well, with flavors like "cheeseburger" and "Nashville hot chicken", I'm guessing not. But is it a delight to eat? Yes. We had so much fun (the dessert baos are quite a treat - cheesecake and raspberry - yes, please.) My Get-Z daughter loved the cute design of the place. (I'll have to get her too send me photos to post). She made me promise we'll go back soon.

Decided to give the place a try yesterday and I really enjoyed the non-traditional flavours on offer. Since I couldn't decide I snapped up a 6 pack and two of the open Bao. The curry cauliflower and cheesburger were my favourites out of the normal that I tried. I the lobster and nashville hot chicken open baos were my overall favourites though. Unfortunately I am staying out of delivery range as I wanted to try the fulll english breakfast set.
