What a remarkably calm, pink floral ceiling decorated cafe within which one can relax, study or even muse, write poetry as I do, as human traffic soundlessly jostle by...I feel hermetically sealed, comfortable from the outside world...a little escapism is so essential every now and then, and I've found it! here in Happy Bones! whenever I enter, I am met with a a warm, engaging smile greeting from counter staff. My choice coffee is blue volcano just the right strength and serving in ornamental cups, no need for handles as the warmth absorbed and scent of coffee puts my mind at ease, and quite evocatively spawns a unique narrative isn’t just about the physical act of relaxing here, it’s also an emotional journey that brings one from an ordinary day into something more meaningful. Finding the elevated stresses of hospital work no matter how good intentioned, can leave one very, very tired, I find when seated in Happy Bones I am at peace, re-appreciating the wonder of life.

Coffee was really nice, and the barista was very skilled. We went specifically here because they had happy happy soy boy, which is about the best soy milk you can buy but hard to find outside of Australia. The only small issue I had was that the milk was not particularly warm but in future I’d just ask for the milk to be slightly warmer. Very grateful that a good coffee shop was open so late, as at 7pm most offerings were just Nero’s, costa and Starbucks. They also had a few vegan cakes too.

A small coffee shop with good coffee made by skilled baristas. There's a selection of sweet patries including vegan and gluten free options. I got a matcha and raspberry macaroon but I found it too sweet for me, no matcha taste, and the raspberry jam made it extra sweet 😰 but their crossiants look much tastier and they were big!

Lovely spot to watch part of the king’s coronation at! Delicious cappuccino and tasty ham and cheese croissant. Quick and friendly service. Happy to see they also serve cocktails, but it was a wee bit early for to start boozing.

The coffee was great but the pastries really stood out. They are enormous, sweet and delicious. Definitely pick one with your coffee order!

If hasnt got the reputation yet for the biggest croissants ever, it soon will have. For anyone visiting London, at this size and for the price, your trip is obligatory. Do not under estimate the size if these things, they are huge and my favourite is the almond filled one, which simply oozes creamy almond paste as you bite into it. A truly sumptious experience not be missed!

The flat white was OK, just a bit pricey. I love the coffee shops with La Marzocco coffee machine since it’s one of the best espresso machines. Flat white £3.80 Additional +30p for Oat milk
