Great 2 for 1 cocktails from Monday to Thursdays til 6:30. Really nice strong drinks. The meat and rice is really nice. The lamb ribs portion includes a lot so I recommend! The lamb Beyti is amazing! It is on the pricier side but it is nice in there and quality ingredients. They do get busy even on weekdays so it can take a while to get your bill etc but when the staff are with you they are very friendly and nice.
A lovely restaurant, with excellent quality food. Seemed a little expensive at first but after tasting the dishes, it was worth the price. The lamb, fish, dolma and Payiz we're all excellent.
Service was a little slow but likely due to the dish I ordered requiring extra time. Luckily the staff recognised it was worth serving the kids early so their mains came separately and quite quick. The staff interacted nicely with the children as well and were very attentive.
Nice background music though a little loud as we sat beneath a speaker making it hard for our elderly relatives to hear. They turned the volume down upon request but we quickly found someone had turned it back up.
The food is so on point. Delicious, fresh, and plentiful. This has got to be one of the best eateries in Lewisham if you want to sit down and have a meal. The prices are fantastic for the quality of good. I hope they maintain this level of excellence as it makes it an easy pick for a sit-down meal.
It can get busy, so maybe book to stop disappointment!
This place is very nice restaurant decor and service wise, no faults. But the food unfortunately is mediocre. There is nothing bad about it and the mixed mezzes we had were really good but I think it’s quite standard Turkish food and you can get the same cheaper. The price is quite high in my opinion. Also the cocktails were not very nice sadly. But overall for a nice meal out it’s a good choice and it’s not gonna completely empty your wallet it’s just that it’s on the pricier side.
This is our local go to restaurant! We’ve been going since it opened and it’s amazing every time. The cocktails are amazing and the food portions are massive. Prices are incredibly affordable. Customer service is excellent! The owners are always super lovely but today we met Nezosh who gave excellent recommendations and we had a great time! You’ll leave this place with a massive smile on your face and full belly!
Delicious and very tasty Mediterranean food with very generous portions. Each item with its different flavour from the sharing meze, the lamb was cooked perfectly and very soft. Staff were super nice, we were quite in a hurry and they helped bringing all plates at the same time accomodating us at a bigger table having enough space for all plates. The Turkish coffee service was super cute and definitely a worthy coffee.
Amazing grilled meat on skewers! Specially if you a grilled meat lover you won’t be disappointed!
I have been here a few times now and every time enjoy it so much. The pieces of chicken and lamb skewers are quite big and very soft and juicy with a proper charcoal smell as if you would cook it outside over the charcoal. Interior is lovely, service is great! Highly recommend this place!

Ordered a strawberry cheesecake from the dessert menu but received plain cheesecake without any strawberries or strawberry coulis. The Kunefe that I had when I dined in had hard not-melted enough cheese. Otherwise the starters and mains from the lunch menu were great.
Honestly the kindest, tastiest, cleanest restaurant I’ve been to in years. So impressed. Les’ kindness truly stood out too. Very grateful
I'm not surprised that this restaurant rates so highly. When I arrived I found parking easily (right outside) at was a Sunday. I was greeted by my friend and the friendly staff inside the restaurant. The tables were laid out well, the floor was uber clean and the chairs, extremely comfortable. When the last of our party arrived we were ready to order.
The menu was extensive and after we had ordered it came quickly. It was the best restaurant food I'd tasted in a long time. Fresh, flavoursome and juicy. I will visit again before the summer is out.

I got a Groupon deal and tried 08 different dishes, every one of them was incredible! The service is great, all staff are very polite, friendly and nice. The seats are very comfortable, the music is ambient so you can easily hold conversation without having to yell, prices are very decent, and I really appreciate that they serve glass bottle Coke in a Coca Cola branded glass, with plenty of ice. They value detail and the food is stunning. 10 out of 10, Will definitely go back!
What a lovely restaurant in Lewisham. Turkish cuisine, all absolutely delicious. We just had s few starters plates for lunch and they were really generous portions. Quite busy and a very nice birthday presentation made for another table. Staff efficient and polite, will recommend.
Friendliest staff ever! The food was top quality and they bring rice and bulgur with every main dish .
The portions are huge - we got starters and mains - but it was so much food that we asked for a doggie bag.

Another perfect experience here at Payiz, Mothers day treat was a very enjoyable experience due to the friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent value for money and certainly a personal fave for all of us. Top marks once again.
I would give more stars if I could !! Amazing staff , fabulous food. They were so accommodating with our 16 month year old baby. The food was perfect. We can’t wait to come back and bring all our friends !
