Really nice and friendly service. Decent food, reasonable flavours. Nothing outstanding but not bad either
Food - Portions were small. 5 gyozas for £10 is steep. The portion of rice that came with the curry was disproportionate - you probably need 3x rice to go with that curry. The sushi rolls were not very ‘tight’. Taste was good. We were told they had a new chef on the day we were there. 3/5
Service - The person who attended was was pleasant and attentive. 5/5
Ambience - was good but not very Japanese for a Japanese restaurant. 4/5

I rarely venture to local restaurants preferring to cook at home. However, since the recently opening of the Tataki Bar is close to my residence I decided to give it a shot. I was hugely impressed. The food and service is absolutely excellent. I am no doubt going to be a regular.

Really nice place with excellent food. We tried sushi, vegetable noodles, meat and mochis, and everything was very tasty and well cooked. We highly recommend this restaurant and will come back for sure!
Amazing steaks witch comes with the friendly atmosphere. Fully recommend to have a bottle of sake with Japanese style wood smoked steak.

The sushi was really delicious (Seabed) with decent servings. The Japanese curry was delicious - could do with more rice for the sauce.
