We had a delicious meal for only 18£ (it was a Monday so it was a special menu) - we had garlic bread for starters and then pizza and a salad as main course. It was delicious and the portions were quite big!
The restaurant is very cozy and modern, i loved the decoration. But the best part was the service: they were all extremely polite. Special thanks to Laura, who was so attentive and professional and nice during the whole time. We will definitely be coming back!
Amazing service and food. Loved every bit of it. We were so late, the kitchen was closing but the chief kindly agreed to let us in. Kitchen shuts 9.40pm. Stakes are cooked to perfection. I usually don't like chips but their chips was so delicious and it complemented the stake nicely. The dishes are a bit pricey but it is in Leister square. The music was a bit too loud for my liking. Will visit again soon.
We came here on a Saturday evening and Leicester Square was buzzing! Inside the restaurant the atmosphere was more relaxed, even though the place was quite full. We had the fixed 2 course menu, which had good selection and definitely value for money.
We had a champagne afternoon tea here yesterday.
Warmly greeted by the very friendly and efficient staff, they work well as a team.
Lovely interior with a great ambience.
Food was very fresh and flavoursome, more than enough for two people.
Very good value and a lovely treat.

What can I say, but absolutely fantastic regarding this restaurant! The staff are well trained, polite, consistent, delivering 100% quality and customer service. We had a young lady called Matilda and her knowledge about the menus is extensive and she didn't forget to ask about any other dietary requirements. She was very attentive throughout our experience. I have to comment how surprisingly juicey the steak is and it was cooked to perfection. Very tasty and that's without adding salt. The salmon Caesar salad, with my request for added fresh chilies, has the right balance of flavours. My Espresso martini was mixed correctly. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon and Mr Whites will definitely impress and never disappoints.
In the heart of Leicester square.
They known for high tea
But I had lovely solo lunch,
Dined in the front under cover , listening to the wonderful talents of the on square talent, providing live entertainment all afternoon into evening.
Delicious meal with good wine.
Love London
Overall had a great experience staff were very polite. But the service seemed quite slow and it was a Sunday so it wasn't super busy. There was some confusion about my voucher which was verified with the lady at the door. I asked one of the staff if I could move over one table because I was right under the air-con. But I think nobody communicated that so I was then asked to produce my voucher 4 times after that. We booked for bottomless processco for 90min and they brought us one bottle which we drank within 45min but nobody then brought us anymore after that. I got up after an hour and just asked for a 2 more glasses for me and friend as we had booked bottomless. I would say if they could get the service up to scratch 10/10. But when I did interact with staff they were polite... but that being said I would definitely go back!!
Were fortunate enough to be given an Afternoon Tea voucher & we chose to try Mr White's in Leicester Square, London. We arrived for an early "Afternoon Tea" at 12.15, (we had plans for the afternoon) on a Monday in late October. Always a worry for me when I use one of these vouchers, but a breeze, shown to our table as "normal" customers & from the initial contact the service was great. I had traditional English breakfast tea, whilst my wife, not being a hot drinks person had a diet coke. We had the menu of what was to come and they asked if we wanted to make any changes or had any allergies, we didn't & the Tea was brought to us a few minutes later. Again I cant fault it, other than it did my waist line no good at all !! , 4/5 finger sandwiches each, scone with cream & jam of course, macaroons & 3 different cake slices. a second pot of tea & diet coke came along on request. Over all a very pleasent 90 minutes. When we left around 2pm, it had filled out quite nicely with customers enjoying the Afternoon Teas as well as the proper lunch menu
We will return, to try the proper menu, I would favourably compare it to Browns.
Nice restaurant with tasty food and kind service. I can't say the food is out of the world and certainly a bit pricey for what you get (but not pricey for London standards). We enjoyed our dinner and it had a good atmosphere but not sure if I would go again for dinner. The cocktails were tasty!
I had a great time last weekend. Good food and drink, nice and friendly staff.
Smilena recommended me the signature steak, and was really good. Garlic butter and mushroom with steak it's a nice combination.
After that I had ice-cream for desert, was hot last week so perfect dessert, and the flavors were soo good. Lara made sure that I get everything is OK and I have good meal.
Good food coupled with nice cocktails and great service, couldn't asked more. Thanks to Lara and Mia I had great time, great lunch
I'm sure I will visit them again soon.
Great staff, friendly and efficient. Went for afternoon tea (my first time) sandwiches were tasty as was the cakes and the tea (lemon and ginger) was so flavourful. Very nice place to dine, you easily forgot about the hussle and bustle going out just outside.
Highly recommended.
Very tasty wine to finish off a delicious afternoon tea.
Dined here two days ago for my anniversary and could not fault our experience. We were served by a waitress name Tanai, who made our evening so special and is a credit to your team. Food was very nice as was the atmosphere. Would definitely come again.
Nice restaurant for pre-theatre dinner. Tasty set menu. A little too expensive for wine but then again in Central London, so it's expected. Overall nice place for a dinner or lunch.
My Husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary as we'd been given a voucher for a chateaubriand experience. We got there early and sat at the bar to have a drink first. Service was a bit slow but we got our cocktails in the end. We were then seated and given some menus and then waited what felt like forever. Our experience came with a couple of cocktails so we ordered those and some olives and bread to start with. Again service was a little slow and I could see our drinks sat on the bar for ages before they were bought to our table. We polished the drinks and the starter off and ordered a bottle of prosecco. The food came out and I was a little disappointed. We'd had a chateaubriand elsewhere before and it was honestly the best thing I've ever eaten so I suppose I did have high expectations. There was no where near as much food as I was expecting (5 slices of steak, 6 cherry tomatoes and 2 portions of chips) and the steak just wasn't as tender as a fillet should be. Everything was delicious so I have no complaints there, I just needed more! The price for the chateaubriand was £75 on the menu and I don't know if we didn't have a voucher it would have been a different experience. We went to a pub after this and ended up ordering some halloumi fries as we were still hungry! Our bill came to a little over £175 including a 12½% service charge, once the voucher was taken off our bill for a bottle of prosecco and the olives and bread came to just over £80! Venue was lovely and clean although the facilities could've done with a clean up. I've been to a few MPW restaurants and I wonder whether the fact that this one in the middle of Leicester Square is a bit more touristy than the others and the service and food reflect that. All in all not a bad experience in the slightest I just wasn't wowed.
