I cannot be more satisfied with my evening. The food was a 5/5, portions were well sized for the price, and the complimentary bread, garlic and butter was delicious. The desserts in particular were massive and definitely worth the money (the cookie was the size of my hand and was the best I have ever eaten)
Service was fantastic, Sam and Santa accommodated us perfectly so we could fully enjoy our time. For a big group celebrating a birthday, the service was some of the best I’ve experienced. Along with the live music, gorgeous venue, and nostalgic atmosphere, this was a dinner to remember!
Service was great, atmosphere is perfect for a night out or just a date. The food was cooked perfectly. The jazz band and dancer were shockingly better than expected, and I already had high expectations. I've already recommended to people to visit when in London.
This is the nicest place I’ve ever been to yet. Our waiter Jordan gave us first class service. Calming and very approachable and will listen to any questions you have. Went there for my birthday meal. Was expecting a couple chocolates for a birthday dessert (Which most restaurants give you) but when they came out with a full slice of cake I was surprised and happy. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend
Had a lovely time and a wonderful dinner. Ambience, Food and the music was just perfect. Only made better by the quality of the Service Staff. Callum - our host for the evening - gave us excellent suggestions and we pretty much went with everything he suggested. Not a single thing disappointed. One of my rare reviews to leave after going out somewhere.
Had an amazing time over at Maine - celebrating a dear friend’s birthday. I had booked the Tavern but hadn’t paid attention to where it said there wouldn’t be any live music.Upon arrival, the restaurant manager, Alex was so kind to accommodate us at the main salon with amazing seats to watch the live show as well as giving us complimentary drinks. The service was fantastic - above the mark for London. Food and entertainment extraordinary.. will definitely be back ⭐️
My experience of the Maine was a interesting one. The restaurant and building itself is lovely with a very high end feel. The amazing Chandelier in the centre of the room is stunning especially when it starts changing colours. We had booked for a Sunday evening so there was a live band and music which was excellent although it was a little bit dark when the music started. I ordered the angry lobster pasta which was very tasty but could have used more lobster in it for the high price of £80. Desserts were very good all around bedside the cheese cake which was quite disappointing. Overall I was slightly disappointed with the food but the overall experience makes up for it.
A MUST IN LONDON!
The food, the drinks, the ambiance, the jazz. This restaurant is one for the books.
Interestingly enough, the photos don’t even do the place justice.
Must try:
Oysters
Fish tacos
Filet Mignon
Halibut
Key Lime Pie
(Bread, olive oil, and tomatoes are on the house. Delicious as well!)
Do reserve with time as this place gets filled up quickly and rightfully so.
I usually keep my expectations low when it comes to food at these show restaurants. However, the atmosphere lacked (we went on a Sunday) and the food was surprisingly good. Nothing extravagant but better than expected. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Found The Maine online, looked amazing in the photos and trust me it’s even better in person.
Took my gf here for her birthday and we were not disappointed, the food was amazing, the setting and atmosphere even more incredible and fairly reasonably priced considering the location and all of the above.
Highly recommend, don’t think twice, book a table!
Perfect date night spot! We had dinner at the Brasserie area. The food was absolute perfection. Beef carpaccio is a must-have starter! Was really romantic ambience with live band and a singer. Highly recommended.
