I just can't explain how good it was. This is maybe the best food that I have ever eaten. And the prices? Not even high! If I was living here (london), I would come to eat here every single day!!! Thank you much!!!!

The South Indian Karnataka thali at Sagar Veg near Trafalgar Square is a flavorful delight. It showcases a variety of authentic dishes with a perfect blend of spices. A must-try for anyone craving a taste of Karnataka in London!

The dining at the Sagar Vegetarian restaurant at Leisters Square, and it was a good experience. The service at the restaurant was impeccable. From the moment I was seated, the staff made me feel welcome and attended to my every need from start to finish. The food specially Sagar Special Dosa was nothing short of extraordinary. It is hard to get the Indian flavor but the symphony of flavours tastes like true Indian. The quality of the food and service justifies the reasonable prices. It's a must visit for Vegetarian Lovers, if you are near Piccadilly Circus, London.

Really good dosa here if you're looking for your dosa fix in a more relaxed and calmer environment compared to another dosa restaurant in the area. Good range of dosa's to choose from as well as many other items on the menu. All the food was well cooked with very good flavours and textures. The Sagar special dosa filling was a bit wet for my liking but has great flavour. The chowpati is very moorish and has a nice underlying heat. The prices are very fair here and the service was quick. The only downside was that they no longer do the South Indian filter coffee which is a shame as it's delicious but they do masala chai if you need a tea hit with your dosa. Overall, a great little restaurant and would happily come back to try other items in the menu.

Entering the air conditioned Sagar an hour past noon on a sultry day away from the maddening crowd of Saturday was the right thing to do. We ordered a paneer dosa, a paper paneer dosa, and a saag paneer with rice. The food lacked flavours but was fresh. The waiters were cordial and the temperature indoor was perfect. The jaggery wheat dosa I ordered for dessert had no taste of jaggery. The paneer was not crumbled in the paneer dosa but instead big chunks fried and mixed together with the potato masala. Overall, the food was nice, not spicy, and the restaurant did not smell of food, thanks to the good ventilation.

Small restaurant but they make the most of the space. South Indian food and it tastes great. Reasonably priced. **Note that service charge of 12.50% is automatically added. Tipping isn’t a culture in the UK so I think this is for tourists. You can ask them to remove it and tip on your own if you’d like.

This is a great restaurant to go to before the theatre. They are pretty relaxed staff so I would suggest telling them your tight for time if you are. The food was so good I order a paneer dosa and my friend got a masala dosa. Both delicious and filling. We also got savory donuts and samosas for our starters, the samosas were ones I've not tried before they were mild in spice and had cashew nuts inside and the donuts were very tasty with great dipping sauces. I have saved this place and will be coming again for sure. It's great for vegans and vegetarians.

Great Indian food restaurant right outside Leicester Square that won't break the bank unlike a lot of other restaurants in th area. It has loads of vegan options, good customer service. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the space is quiet small and so was the seating (especially for tables of 4).

Come here with my family at least once a month but wish we could come here once a week. There is so much variety on their menu and it never gets boring. This time we all ordered the vegan thali. I would really recommend this dish because you get to try so many different dishes which is good when you don’t know what to order!
