15/10! We came for dinner with my partner, the staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was really nice and relaxed! The food took me back to Japan, excellent menu with different choices and you can find something for everyone!

Lovely place great food great service, nice and soothing atmosphere. The menu has vegetarian options. Everything we tried was excellent. I had the best takoyaki so far comparable to the ones I tried when I was in Japan. Highly recommend! Book in advance !

Tucked away amidst the architectural tapestry of Olympia, Kensington, and a hop from the verdant Holland Park, lies a sushi spot that defies local culinary conventions. Historically, this lush pocket of London might have garnered a reputation for overpriced, middle-of-the-road dining, but this establishment dares to be different. Upon entry, the wafting allure of impeccably prepared sushi tantalises the senses. The standard here is sublime: each morsel boasting of exceptional freshness and craftsmanship. While the food commands attention, the warmth exuded by the amiable staff wraps around you like a comforting blanket. It's not merely about food here; it's a holistic dining experience. The pièce de résistance? The pricing. Offering top-tier sushi without the Holland Park price tag, it's a delightful culinary contradiction that Londoners will savour. Whether you're plotting a laid-back lunch or looking to impress on a romantic rendezvous, this gem shines brightly.

I came here after seeing the good reviews. I live on North End Rd and was not aware of the highly rated restaurant super closed to me. The fish quality is definitely better than a lot of restaurants in London.(I came from Canada and was spoiled by the cheap and good sushi there, so my review will be a bit harsh. ) The quality is good but still a little bit expensive, in my opinion. So far, I haven't had very impressive sushi in London, albeit living here for almost a year.. I gave it a 5 because it does not have the london style mandatory "discretionary" service charge. Note: it will be much better if there is refuced salt soy sauce. Soy sauce way too salty compared to canada.

Wonderful hidden gem on Hammersmith Road near Brook Green. Kampai feels like family run Japanese cafe. Has a small but bright & clean airy vibe. A few tables dotted around and a sushi bar at the end. I ordered Sushi bento A which has teriyaki Chicken & Salmon. Rice, pickles and salmon & tuna sashimi. Miso soup on the side. Also ordered a side of California roll to share. Nicely presented and tasted great. One of the best in the area and definitely my new go to!

Absolutely fantastic 👌 Probably the best sushi I've eaten in a long while 👍 Managed to get a table without a reservation but they where busy and others got turned away. So best to book and this was a Tuesday night.
