Cutest place that I only found out about yesterday 🙃 it’s just by Tesco at the end of the station. Ordering food is very easy. Since it was first time trying their food, staff was so polite and helpful in showing me how to order properly, big thanks. Portions are big and filling, and very yummy. Highly recommend.
Pretty good for what it is! Korean Fried Chicken at a reasonable price, in a fast-casual setting. Yes it’s more expensive than regular fast food, but it’s a lot less expensive than going to a Korean restaurant.
I tried the chicken breast (sweet chilli) and my friend got the wings (soy). Hers was way, way better than mine - the sweet chilli is SUPER sweet and just a bit much, whereas the soy is just moreish and juicy.
I made it a meal (£12.85) with fries and a coke and there were a LOT of fries. I was a bit apprehensive because other reviewers haven’t been impressed with the fries, but I thought they were pretty much like McDonald’s fries - skinny and crispy and moreish.
Would definitely return, but next time try the half chicken!
First taste of authentic Korean fried chicken in London. Thumbs up for the quality of the chicken - nice and crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. The fries 🍟were also better than average.
My go to for Korean fried chicken in London. My go to is the soy chicken, second is the sweet chilli chicken. They also have burgers and chips. The chicken also comes in a meal with chips and a drink.
Food was decent and prices were ok, compared to other similar places. All Food is halal certified and freshly prepared on site.
Wow!!!!! 💯💯💯💯💯
The food is delicious and like no other.
Great store, easy to use machines to order your food. Simple menu and exclusive variety.
Can upgrade to side and drink for £3
Clean and loads of seats available to dine in.
The kimchee rice 🤤👌🏽
OMG. How have I not been here before? I had half a chicken with kimchi rice and although the wait was a bit long - it was certainly worth it.
I’ve only been to wing wing in the uk before this and now I’m happy I found another alternative.
The combo meal is pretty great value, in my opinion, although the chicken and vegetables tend to be a bit overcooked. Staff are not particularly fast but are generally polite and generous with servings. It's not exactly an authentic Korean experience but probably benefits from the additional of the non-Korean menu options (I recommend Java curry + some kind of fried chicken).
REAL KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN in London. The sweet chilli flavour is just what I had in Korea! Yummy and saucy. Very friendly staff too. I would definitely visit again and again. Please open more shops. :)
Still can’t believe this has opened in London! It was so authentic, just how kfc is done in Korea. Good price and delicious- 100% recommend!!
Recently ate here with my family after it being recommended by my sister and we all really enjoyed the experience! We had the udon with fried chicken, kimchi side, the sweet chilli chicken and other items. It was very tasty, crispy, sweet and easy.
The whole experience is simple, easy ordering system, very minimalist yet comfortable and homely interior design with lots of space to breathe. The food is simple and yummy, not an overload of ingredients. Will definitely eat here again, thank you!
(Forgot to take photos because we were so tired after coming home from a long day out at the museums)
I have been repeatedly disappointed with the numerous pop ups of businesses labelling themselves with the title of having REAL Korean chicken, however, Pelicana has blown me away. It is EXACTLY what I have been looking for: crispy, tender, juicy Korean style chicken.
I heard about this place via word of many many happy mouths and gave it a try with low expectations after so many failed attempts to discover true Korean chicken in London and my oh my, is it good.
I've become such a fan that I'm pretty sure I've almost tried every single item available on the menu, or I am happily on my way to this.
A short wait and you are presented with a fresh gorgeous looking set of golden brown, fried-to-perfection chicken. Please can other businesses take note of the fact that the importance of that crispiness is monumental because Pelicana has gone beyond making me happy. Nice table service and well presented food. The chips are another yet again bonus of Pelicana, where there is no oily aftertaste or greasy fingers.
My thanks goes to the staff who greeted me with bright smiles and of course to whoever brought the real Korean fried chicken into London.
I love Pelicana, you can order at the counter or via the self-service machine. Food arrives promptly and there's plenty of space to dine in. My favourite is their Classic wings. Strangely enough, their chips are poor, but you go for the chicken and it's worth the journey.
