This is my little oasis in the madness of The Hacked Borough of Crackney. A fusion of flavours from the West Country, Malta and Poland – and that's just the staff! Lovely folks all of them. And the menu is refreshingly eclectic, featuring as it does, an intoxicating combination of fantastic wine list (I recommend the PicPoul), delicious cheese and cold meat plates, and truly inspired freshly-prepared dishes from the super talented young chef. Judy, the owner, is lovely and friendly and always ready to help. Solid free wi-fi and a little back garden for filthy smokers like me, makes this my go to venue when I fancy a quick flat white, a lingering lunchtime bite to eat, or an evening trolling tory MPs on Twitter whilst quaffing fine wine. Best of all – they still take cash, unlike so many of the newer, posher, more sterile businesses that are washing the area in a Tsunami of gentrification. 5/5 from me. Do I win a free meal for two and a bottle of something from Bulgaria?

Really nice neighbourhood deli/restaurant/wine bar. We stumbled upon here on a weekday night very hungry. We were very pleasantly surprised. Had two pasta dishes to share and some starters, which were delicious and very affordable. I think this place would suit every occasion, random weekday stumble and celebrations. And although we didn’t sit in the garden, seemed it would be the perfect ambience for some wine and chilled afternoon.
