A hidden gem! I’m so happy I stumbled upon Boiler & Co because I was surprised with the most incredible food and cocktails. Everyone working here is absolutely lovely, the service was brilliant and the head chef is magical. The fusion of flavours on the menu has been perfectly invented and executed, alongside beautiful drinks crafted by the incredibly masterful bartender there is nothing not to love about this place!
We popped into this spot one afternoon after a visit to the Tate Modern. Nice chill spot with good music and a great aesthetic. Was a bit early for dinner so we had drinks and small bites. Wife ordered a vodka martini with a twist, and I had one of their house drinks. A Sour Julep. Both were proper cocktails. For small plates we had Korean fries and Bao buns. Both were fantastic, but I will be thinking about those Korean spicy/sesame/chili fries for a long time. Staff was excellent and were super helpful and polite. Would def return for more
Absolutely delightful tasting menu, varied and interesting dishes, well presented and served, chef explained the style and concept and ingredients. Cosy atmosphere and a fun experience. Music a little on the loud side for an evening meal.
We popped in on a Saturday for lunch. We sat outside in one of those plastic pods which was nice as I've not been in one before. We ordered bao buns, truffle fries and mushroom arancini. The portions were perfect for lunch and it went down well with prosecco and wine. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. I would love to go again and try the cocktails.
Brunch at The Boiler and Co on Saturday was an amazing experience. The food was fabulous, the cocktails didn't disappoint and as for the sweet talk the Soursop Lollies literally feels like you are eating the fruit.
If you love coffee, chocolate and hazelnuts as much as I do then the Salted Chocolate Bar defo hit my sweet spot.
Chef Kerth Gumbs and Co I can only say BRAVO and thank you to the team for the attention to details. Don't take my word for it go try it for yourself.
My friend and I came here for happy hour after the Tate. It was AMAZING!!! We got all the vegetarian and vegan appetizer options as well as the mushroom bao - all delicious! Our server Lita was so kind and fun to talk to!! Will definitely be coming back for the food/happy hour and the service!
Food and service were amazing; if you’re in the neighborhood, is totally worth the visit. We were a party of two and 5 plates to share was perfect. The team is knowledgeable and friendly; they have a great wine list, if you are a wine lover, the English Pet Nat is a must!
A fantastic and well thought out tasting course. I love the personal touch of the chef's table, with Kerth talking us through some of the personal stories behind the menu. The standout dish was the crab Johnny cakes, excellently paired with the whisky sour. The staff were attentive and well informed and the music added to an excellent atmosphere and vibe.
Great food and nice atmosphere. The waiter gave good recommendations which turned out to be good. Gave us the feeling that we were preferred customers. Thank you. highly recommend
Visited Boiler & Co twice so far, once for dinner with friends and again for a corporate meal with my workplace. On both occasions, the food was absolutely delicious - the small plate menu is a perfect way to sample as much of the menu as possible. As well the food tasting amazing, it's also beautifully presented. The cocktails also deserve a special mention, the selection is very innovative and you can tell that the bar staff are masters in their craft. On top of all of this, the service cannot be faulted and the atmosphere fantastic. Highly recommend and looking forward to another visit!
Boiler & Co is one of our local, SE1 restaurant/ bars. It’s been trying to find its identity since it opened in 2022 - each iteration has had some very good aspects. Right now the quality of food / value for money balance is perfect. In particular, the small plates are interesting and delicious. Some great wines too. Recommended for a cosy, winter’s lunch on a Saturday. Good tunes too. Thanks.
Update. New menu is awesome. The chef is absolutely on point. Small plates but always with a special twist. Go!
No brainer, relaxed fine dining with a twist. Totally unique and a well thought through menu…definitely do the cocktail pairing.
Visited today for a Mother’s Day lunch. I couldn’t fault it, you know it’s a good lunch when I eat all my vegetables!
Cocktails were excellent, food is divine. Staff are pleasant and know their stuff about their drinks. Defo returning again soon, thanks boiler!
