Came here by chance, very cute pub with nice atmosphere. Not overcrowded like other pubs in the area which means they can provide a good service. Food was very good and fresh, we will be back!
Sam and I did a pub crawl in Hampstead and this was the second pub of the day. This was our first visit to this pub and we both liked it a lot. Bar service was friendly. I had a half pint of Siren Soundwave IPA, 5.6%. Pub and toilets were clean.
Great little neighbourhood pub, right near where we were staying in London. It was our first taste of London pub atmosphere as we went here shortly after landing, and it was great! Good selection of beers and the barman was very friendly and answered our various questions about London, the universe, and everything. Hope to come back!
One of the nicest pubs I’ve ever been! The stars are the staff - as friendly, attentive and helpful. Makes me wonder if that’s because they are a neighborhood pub, away from the main streets, en clustered in this lovely area of London. Food menu is concise but it hits the spot with good options to choose from… maybe adding more vegetarian 🌱 vegan options?
Wine lists, cocktails 🍸 (yes, cocktails!!!) are superb, with many options. There are plenty of Beer, ciders and other non alcoholic drinks to choose from as well.
Burger 🍔, saladas and sharing plates were delicious.
Again, a big applause to the staff, all of you made our day being so attentive and polite! Highly recommended.
This pub is one of the finest in the area. The kitchen changed hands recently so I cannot comment on the current food offering but the staff are universally friendly and there is a selection of board and cars games available for those looking for something to do. The quirky array of polar bear themed art etc makes for a really cool feel to the place too. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in the area!
Nice place, perfect service, good food. We suggest the traditional fish and chips, the pub however offers different kind of dishes, from poke to burger, with a touch of international fusion cuisine.
Apparently this pub has been closed for eight or more years and finally reopened in December 2021! Really pleased to see that it wasn’t redeveloped during that time into flats or something else we don’t need more of…
Good pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord and more reasonably priced than many of the neighbouring pubs. Also quite spacious inside with nice decor, and benches out front. Children and dog friendly too.
I was welcomed warmly upon arrival, which is always a positive. It deserves to do well!
The Old White Bear in Hampstead is a delightful old but modern pub, airy, bright and comfortable. The staff here are jolly and efficient. The beer is varied and well kept. Plenty of food on offer, excellent! Additional seating at the front of the pub overlooking a quiet street. There is a good villagey feel to the pub. A great place for a drink.
We hosted a family party on Saturday and they have been brilliant from start to finish. The food was delicious, the staff incredibly helpful and a great atmosphere. Really child friendly too. Could not be more impressed. Thank you Dan and Rob for helping us all have a fantastic time.
Well, it's a great pub, great food, lovely atmosphere and Louisa was amazing 👏 so good to have such a bubbly super conscientious and special part of the team. Highly recommended 👌🏼 new chef, food is worth checking out.
Nice pub with a good atmosphere. Couple of benches out the front and the inside was busy so would defo book if I went again.
Decent pub with a few seats out front; tastefully decorated interior; decent selection of normal and unusual beers. Friendly staff. Would happily return.

Away from the madding crowd in sleepy Hampstead. This pub is located in a very peaceful, pleasant area. Staff are friendly & service very good. A nice selection of beers, wines & spirits.

Just the best pub in London. It’s such a cozy place to end up after a cold, wet, winter hike…and there’s always friendly dogs wandering around, which is a big plus.
Great pub and the best Sunday roast I’ve had in a while! Highly recommend the black pudding scotch egg perfect is the only word I can find to describe it. Really nice staff! Food was 10 out of 10.
